MP Board 12th Syllabus 2021 (Stream-wise)

MP board class 12th comprises three significant streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities/Arts. These three streams are classified based on the core subjects.

The science stream teaches the areas related to medical, engineering, and other professional fields, whereas the commerce stream focuses on business-related topics, commerce, trade, and financial matters. Unlike science and commerce, the humanities/arts stream covers vast areas of study, and the subjects include languages like political science, psychology, sociology, and more.

The MP board 12th syllabus is divided into four groups which are Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D. Group-A consists of the First and Second Language syllabus. Group-B consists of core subjects from different streams. Group-C comprises additional subjects' syllabus, and Group-D includes other compulsory subjects like NCC and environmental studies.

Passing Criteria for MPBSE Class 12th Board Exams

As per the MPBSE guidelines, a candidate needs to obtain a minimum of 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical/internal examination to pass in class 12th final exams. A candidate must also achieve 33% marks in aggregate in all the subjects. Below are the detailed passing criteria for MPBSE 12th board exams:

  • A candidate receives the pass certificate if they acquire a grade higher than an 'E' in all internal assessment subjects.

  • A candidate shall obtain at least 33% marks in all the five external examination subjects (main/compartmental).

  • For subjects involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical separately to qualify.

  • Candidates exempted from one or more internal examinations will be eligible to appear in the external exams. However, the result shall be declared only after the fulfilment of other conditions.
