The Kerala board releases the notification of the Kerala Plus Two application form every year. Therefore, candidates have to fill and submit the Kerala Plus Two registration form under the guidance of the school authorities before the last date to avoid paying the late fine. School authorities and candidates can find notification of application form from the DHSE official website.

The DHSE is the authority responsible for conducting Kerala Plus Two exams every year. Moreover, candidates and schools shall adhere to the instructions given in the notification to register for the exams.

Kerala Plus Two Application Form 2022 Guidelines

Application forms can be received from the school office or otherwise downloaded from the DHSE portal - dhsekerala.gov.in. Candidates are expected to strictly adhere to Kerala Plus Two application form procedures instructed by the board. Candidates registering for the second year Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) shall register only for those subjects they have appeared in the first year Higher Secondary examination. Important points to note while applying for the Kerala Plus Two exam for regular and open school candidates are given below:

  • No change in the subject combination will be permitted during the second year.
  • No modification of the examination centre shall be allowed.
  • Applications that are submitted after the last date mentioned by DHSE will be rejected.
  • Candidates should not send the application form directly to the Directorate.
  • A passport-size photograph shall be affixed in the space provided in the application form.
  • The concerned school principal should adequately attest to the photograph.
  • The prescribed fee for the examination shall be remitted to the school before the last date.
  • Once paid as examination fees, the fee amount will not be refunded and adjusted as the fee of upcoming examinations under any circumstances. 

For Regular Candidates:

  • The school authorities can register for regular candidates for the Higher Secondary examination by remitting the prescribed fee before the deadline mentioned by the board.

  • Regular candidates should register for the Higher Secondary examination under the guidance of the school authorities.

  • Candidates who have not undergone Continuous Evaluation (CE)/have not secured a minimum attendance percentage/have not been issued the order sanctioning condonation for the shortage of attendance cannot appear for the Higher Secondary examination.

Note: Open School candidates should attach a copy of the Open School registration memo along with the application form. When submitting Kerala Plus Two application form 2022, candidates should attach a copy of the SSLC certificate or equivalent as proof of birth date.
