Kerala Plus Two Application Form/Registration Form 2021

The Kerala board releases the notification of the board examination every year. Candidates must fill and submit the Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 before 4th December 2021. However, the board extended the last day of submitting the application forms till 15th January 2021 with a late fees of Rs 600/- so candidates who were unable to submit the application form can submit it now. Moreover, Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala released the notification of Second Year Higher Secondary examination/ Plus Two examination on 23rd December 2020.

Candidates can find the Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 from the official website of the Kerala Plus Two board -  and candidates can also obtain the same from the office of the Principal. Candidates who were not able to clear the examination in their first attempt can appear for a SAY [Save A Year] examination. Kerala Plus Two SAY exam application form 2021 should be submitted to the board at the earliest.

Those who do not submit the Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 in the prescribed final date by DHSE can submit it in two weeks just after the last date with an additional amount as fine. Students can refer to the details of the registration process as mentioned below -



For receiving Application without fine

4th January 2021

For receiving Application with fine of Rs 20/-

8th January 2021

For receiving application with an additional fine of Rs. 5/- per day (Fine Rs. 20 + additional fine Rs. 5/day)

12th January 2021 

For receiving application with a Super fine of Rs. 600/- (Fee +Rs. 600/-)

15th January 2021 

Kerala Plus Two Application Form 2021 Guidelines

Application forms can be received from the school office or else downloaded from the DHSE portal -  and candidates should strictly adhere to the format of Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 provided by the board itself. Candidates registering for the second year Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) shall register only for those subjects which they appeared in the first year Higher Secondary examination.

The important points to note while applying for the Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 for regular as well as open school candidates are given below. Candidates are advised to go through all the following details carefully in order to make sure that their application forms are accepted by DHSE.

  • No change in the subject combination will be permitted during the second year.

  • No change of examination centre shall be allowed.

  • Applications that are submitted after the last date mentioned by DHSE will be rejected.

  • Candidates should not send application form directly to the Directorate.

  • A passport-size photograph shall be affixed in the space provided in the application form.

  • The photograph should be properly attested by the concerned school Principal.

  • The prescribed fee for the examination shall be remitted to the school before the last date.

  • The fee amount once remitted as examination fees will not be refunded and adjusted as the fee of upcoming examinations under any circumstances. 

For Regular Candidates

  • The regular candidates are able to register for the Higher Secondary examination by remitting the prescribed fee at the school office before the deadline mentioned by the board.

  • Regular candidates need not submit an application form for registering for the Kerala Plus Two examination.

  • Regular candidates should register only for the Higher Secondary examination for the subjects sanctioned by the Higher Secondary Directorate, in the school.

  • Candidates who have not undergone Continuous Evaluation (CE)/ have not secured a minimum percentage of attendance / have not been issued the order sanctioning condonation for the shortage of attendance will not be allowed to appear for the Higher Secondary examination even after the registration is done also.

For Open School Candidates

  • Open school and compartmental candidates including both regular and private should submit the application for registering the Higher Secondary examination in the format prescribed by the board before the last date for the same.

  • Open school candidates should submit the application to the Principal of the exam centre allotted to them. 

  • Open school candidates shall submit their Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 for Higher Secondary examinations in the prescribed format along with the private registration memo/ attested copy of identity card issued by the Kerala state open school, remitting the prescribed fees to the Principal of the school which is assigned as their examination centre by the open school authorities.

  • Open school candidates shall register for the examination for plus two only for the subjects recorded as per the open school registration memo.

  • All open school candidates registering for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination shall submit a self-attested copy of the scoresheet of the first year Higher Secondary Examination.

Application forms can be collected from the school office or downloaded from the DHSE portal and candidates should strictly adhere to the format of the application form as provided by DHSE. Candidates registering for Higher Secondary Plus Two examination shall register only for those subjects which they have appeared in the Plus One Higher Secondary examination.
