The counselling process for NEET conducted in Rajasthan allows the candidates participating from that state to compete for a medical seat in some of the top medical colleges in the state.
Rajasthan NEET Counselling for UG
The Office of the Chairman, The Principal & Controller, SMS Medical College (Sawai Man Singh Medical College) and NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board, Jaipur conduct the NEET Counseling for admission of undergraduate, postgraduate and super speciality courses in India. NIC with counselling committees conducts the online counselling and allotment of seats. The conducting body will organize the Rajasthan NEET Counseling in three rounds based on marks scored in NEET. They will conduct the first and second rounds of counselling online. The conducting authority will organize the third round as a mop-up round in case the seats remain vacant even after they complete two rounds which will fill the remaining positions in a particular medical college. The candidates must register online on the official website of the Rajasthan Government to take part in the first two rounds of counselling. They must complete the process of the application form to be eligible for further admission process.

Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling Process

To register for the counselling process, candidates can take a look at the process briefly.
The registration process of NEET Counselling starts with the SSO Login.
Follow the steps to fill the application form. These include:
- Visit the site - sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin
- Click on "Registration" to create an SSO Id.
- Candidates can create the SSO Id using Gmail/ Facebook/ Aadhaar Card/Twitter.
- Login using your SSO Id and password.
- Click "HTE", under the "Citizen" tab.
- A login window will appear where you have to enter the following details:
Organization: Directorate of Medical Education (DME)
Application: NEET UG (Medical/dental) Admission 2021
- Click on "Continue".
- Fill in the details in the application form (part 1).
- Click on "Confirm", to continue.
- The applicants who belong to General Category have to pay INR 2000, and the students who have the Domicile of Rajasthan state and who belong to the SC/ST Category have to pay INR 1200 as the registration fee to appear for the first round of counselling. Candidates who appeared for the first round are not eligible for the second round of counselling. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility for Rajasthan NEET Counselling
For candidates seeking admission in MBBS or BDS courses in medical colleges in the state of Rajasthan, they must qualify for NEET exam with 50th percentile. The other criteria for eligibility is as follows:
- The domicile of the candidate must be in Rajasthan
- As on December 31, 2021, the candidate should not be less than 17 years of age
- Candidates should have passed physics, chemistry and biology in class 12
- Physical standards of the candidate must meet the eligibility rules.
The organization will release the merit list comprising the names of shortlisted students along with their rank secured and exam roll number.
The organization will summon the candidates as per their rank scored for verification of their documents. Candidates must report at the verification-centre/allotted institutes with all the required documents.
Choice-Filling and Locking
Aspirants must provide their preference of colleges and courses via online choice-filling. The candidate must lock their preference to submit the choices for seat allotment.
The organization will assign the seats to the candidates based on choice filling, seat availability, state merit rank, and seat reservation. The candidates must pay the fees to confirm their position in the University. Aspirants will receive the seat allotment letter via online mode.
In case the candidate does not receive any seat confirmation letter, they can take part in the further rounds of seat allotments.
Reporting at the College
Aspirants must report at the designated colleges on the specified date and time to confirm their admission in the University/College.
Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling - Documents Required
Candidates must carry the required documents at the document verification centre. These include:
- Seat Allotment letter
- NEET Admit Card
- NEET Score Card
- Copy of photo ID
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Class 10th mark sheet or any equivalent certificate containing Date of Birth
- Passport size photograph- 4
- Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate
- Bond as per the applicable Proforma
- And any other certificate if applicable.
Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling - Bond Proforma
The candidates must fulfil and submit the bond as per their applicability at the time of reporting for admission to various Rajasthan MBBS BDS Medical College.
The government dental colleges who are allotting seats inform the candidates to submit a bond of INR 4.0 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs) in favour of the Principal of their designated college along with the bank guarantee of INR 1.00 lakh. In case the candidate wants to leave the course after the second round of the counselling, then the authority will seize and the Bank Guarantee.
The government medical colleges who are allotting seats inform the candidates to submit a bond of INR 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs) and must sign a commitment to serve the State Government for two years of the designated period. In case the candidate leaves the course after the second round of the counselling because of any cause, then the authority will seize the bond of INR 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs) for such candidates.
Depositing the Registration Fee
Candidates can also secure admission to the MBBS courses in Rajasthan NEET counselling 2021 by paying the registration fee of INR 10000. This amount has to be paid to participate in the government college counselling process. For both government and private colleges, the registration fee of INR 100000 must be paid.
