NEET PG 2024 registration has commenced from Apr 16, 2024. Candidates can access the NEET PG application form 2024 on the official website at natboard.edu.in. The NEET PG registration form is available to submit till May 6, 2024 (till 11:55 PM). Candidates are advised to read the NEET PG eligibility criteria 2024 carefully before submitting the application form.

NEET PG 2024 exam dates have been revised by NBE. According to the latest notification, NEET PG 2024 exam date has been preponed to Jun 23, 2024.

Moreover, applicants must note that the conducting authority has reduced the NEET PG application fee by INR 750/- for all the categories. Earlier, the fee for general and OBC category was INR 4250/- and for SC/ ST/ PWD it was INR 3250/-. However, the new application fees for general and OBC is INR 3500/- and for SC/ST/PWD it is INR 2500/-.

In addition, the conducting body stated that the NEET PG cut off 2024 date for completion of the internship process is Aug 15, 2024. Moreover, PTI announced that the National Exit Test (NExT) for the academic year 2024 - 25, will not take place.

NEET PG (National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Post-Graduation) is a test that is held across the country to provide admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) administers the exam in computer-based mode once a year.

The results are also used to determine admission to postgraduate MBBS DNB programs. The exam is held for 13,649 MS seats, 26,168 MD seats, and 922 PG Diploma seats available at various Medical Institutes around India.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored Seat

NBE will issue a notice regarding the sponsored seats for the 2024 admission session. The scheme started from the 2020 admission session, under which a sponsored seat will be granted to an accredited hospital that meets the mentioned eligibility criteria by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

  • The accredited department should entail at least 3 non-sponsored seats in the concerned zone.
  • The hospital should have opted/asked for the inclusion of all non-sponsored seats in the counselling of the 2024 admission session. 
  • The department should have completed at least 1 year of accreditation.
  • The department should have additional faculty approved by the NBEMS to accommodate the sponsored candidate. 

Apart from the eligibility criteria mentioned above, candidates must achieve scores equal to or greater than the minimum cut-off set by the exam conducting authority.

About NEET PG

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is an all-India exam students take annually for admission into various UG and PG courses across some of India's most prestigious medical institutions. NEET PG Cut Off 2024

NEET PG cutoff 2024 percentile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Policy has announced NEET PG cutoff 2024 has been reduced to zero across all categories. Therefore, all the candidates will be eligible for the remaining rounds of NEET PG counselling.

NBE will also release the category-wise cut-off marks for NEET PG 2024. NEET PG cut off 2024 is available in the percentile mode. The equivalent marks to the cut off percentile are provided along with the result.

The Central Government of India, in consultation with the Medical Council Of India, lowered NEET PG 2024 percentile by 6 points. The State Counselling Committees are advised to grant admissions based on the revised percentile.

NEET PG 2024 Merit List

NBE creates a NEET PG merit list based on the results. The method by which the seat allotment process is carried out. The higher the rank on the merit list, the better the college candidates.
