NEET 2023 exam, also known as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, is a national-level medical entrance exam for undergraduate admissions to MBBS, dental, AYUSH, and nursing courses in India. The NEET final answer keys were released on June 15, 2023 and the results were released on June 13, 2023.

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET exam 2023 on May 7, 2023. NEET 2023 provisional answer keys were released on June 4, 2023, and candidates can raise objections till June 6, 2023.

NEET 2023 Results

NEET 2023 results were released on June 13, 2023. Students can check their results online, using their registration credentials. Authorities will issue scorecards to all examinees. Cutoff marks and ranks will differ for each category.

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Listed below are the basic NEET eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by NEET 2023 aspirants:

• The minimum age requirement to appear in NEET 2023 is 17 years during admission or before December 31, 2023. Students born on or after 31 December 2006 are eligible.
• The upper age limit for general category students is 25 years, and for other categories, it is 30 years.
• The applicants should have passed or appeared in Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects.
• General category candidates must have passed Class 12 in PCB and English from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. The minimum score requirement for PWD is 45%, and for OBC/SC/ST categories, it is 40%
• NEET 2023 aspirants should be Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs or foreign nationals

NEET 2023 Application Process

 Shown below is the step-by-step application process for NEET 2023:

• Candidates should visit the official website of NTA NEET 2023 and click on the ‘New Registration’ tab
• Fill in basic details such as name, contact number, DOB, email, etc and click ‘Submit.’
• The applicant’s login credentials (ID and Password) will be created, and registration will be completed
• Students can start filling in the NEET 2023 application form by providing personal details and academic details and choosing the exam centre and medium.
• The next step is to upload all required documents, like passport-size photographs, academic certificates, category certificates, signatures, thumb impressions, etc, in JPG and PDF formats.
• Finally, pay the NEET application fee via UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking, or e-wallet.

Required Documents for NEET 2023

The documents required to be submitted along with the NEET 2023 application form are listed below:

• Identity Proof: ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, ration card, bank account passbook, passport, or any other government photo ID card
• Personal Details: Detailed information about the candidate and his/her parents, such as their name, date of birth, permanent address, active email address, and mobile number
• Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph, a postcard-sized photograph, a signature, and a left thumb impression

NEET 2023 Latest Changes

• It is not mandatory for students to show their Aadhar card to fill out the NEET 2023 application form. One must, however, keep a valid ID proof handy.
• Aspirants will be able to appear for the NEET 2023 exam in any of the two languages of preference in addition to the standard English language.
• There are no restrictions on the number of attempts one can take in NEET 2023.
• NEET 2023 can also be considered for admission to BSc Nursing courses
• Students from State Open Schools, NIOS, or private institutions cannot appear in the NEET 2023 exam
