The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur, conducts the Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2023. The state of Chhattisgarh has a total of 1345 MBBS and 600 BDS seats available and 85% of these seats will be filled through the counselling conducted by the DME while the rest 15% will be reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ) candidates. The authority has released the mop-up round counselling vacancy list on Sept 27, 2023.

Chhattisgarh NEET 2023 UG counselling round 2 registrations was concluded by the DME on Sept 12, 2023. The results for round 2 seat allotment have been released on Sept 20, 2023.

Only the candidates who make it to the Chhattisgarh merit list by qualifying for the NEET examination will be eligible to apply for the Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2023. The important dates related to the counselling process are given below.

Candidates must note there are certain steps involved in Chattisgarh NEET counselling 2023. The following is the procedure to be followed by the candidates applying for Chhattisgarh MBBS and BDS Counselling. 

1. Registration at the official DME website with personal and educational details to be filled in the application. 
2. The application process will also activate a personal account the candidates will use throughout the counselling and admission process. 
3. With the login credentials for the account, candidates will then have to fill in their choices of colleges and courses in the order of their preference.
4. The candidates must be sure to submit legally binding documents and required testimonials along with the application. 
5. During the counselling process, the official authority will allot seats for the candidates based on their merit, course and college preference, a category they belong to and seat availability. 
6. The Chhattisgarh NEET seat allotment will be then published on the official website. 
7. The candidates who have secured admissions to colleges must report to the allocated colleges or universities for document verification and final confirmation of admission by paying the admission fees. 
8. The counselling tends to happen in two rounds.
