NEST counselling schedule has not been released yet by the conducting authority. The schedule will be released by NISER. The registration process for CEBS is expected to begin from July 2025. The counselling will be conducted by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai.
Furthermore, applicants must note that the seat allotment lists will be released individually for the rounds based on the counselling sessions. Selected applicants fpr the particular round will have to complete their admission process and accept the seat within the given timeline.
Qualified candidates of NEST 2025 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process of NEST 2025 will happen in multiple rounds. As per the NEST 2025 seat intake capacity, there are 200 seats available at NISER and 57 at CEBS.

NEST Counselling Dates 2025
NEST counselling 2025 is expected to begin from July 2025. The exam NEST 2025 merit lists will be published alongside the results. The NEST 2025 counselling schedule will be posted on the official NISER website.
Candidates qualifying for the exam will be called for the NEST counselling 2025, where students will be allotted to their respective courses and colleges by the process set up by NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.

NEST 2025 Counselling Procedure
Candidates must register on the online counselling round portal on the official website. Candidates must visit the counselling venue at the specified date and time allocated. Candidates qualifying for the written exam must separately attend the NEST 2025 counselling rounds at NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.
- A merit list will be uploaded to the official website. Based on the merit list, candidates will be allotted a venue and counselling.
- Attendance will be taken for all the candidates present at NEST Counselling 2025 venues.
- A modified merit list will be prepared based on the student's attendance at NISER, and CEBS Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on the revised merit list rather than the original one.
- After the first round of NEST counselling, participating institutes will prepare a list of the waitlisted students, which will be uploaded to the official website.
- Admission of the candidates whose names are present on the waiting list is done in the second round of NEST counselling.
Documents Required for NEST 2025 Counselling Rounds
Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of NEST counselling 2025, without which they will not be allowed to attend the counselling rounds.
- Original Mark Sheet of Class X Board Examination along with 1 photocopy.
- Original Mark Sheet of Class XII Board Examination along with 1 photocopy.
- 1 photocopy and the original birth certificate (SLC) as proof of date of birth.
- Caste Certificate: original with a photocopy (if applicable).
- Original and a photocopy of the OBC certificate (if applicable).
- Photocopy along with the original disability certificate (for physically disabled candidates).
- Proof of Indian citizenship, if born outside India + 1 photocopy.
- 2 copies of recent passport-size photographs.
- Depending on where the candidates appear for counselling, a demand draft (DD) favours NISER, payable at Bhubaneswar, or in favour of CEBS, payable at Mumbai.

NEST Counselling Admission Withdrawal Process 2025
Candidates can also withdraw their application process from the NEST counselling 2025 process before the deadline date, which the conducting authority will announce.
