B.Sc Hons. Home Science syllabus is divided into three years or six semesters. The course has both core and elective subjects making the course a very diverse and flexible course. The major difference between B.Sc and B.Sc Hons courses is that in B.Sc Hons course students will be provided with numerous specialization disciplines under the main course and will be trained on that for research and dissertation. On the contrary, in the B.Sc course, all specialization domains will be shortened and included without adequate depth.

Subjects in B.Sc Hons. Home Science is centred around providing an adequate amount of practical training and theoretical study, which will enhance the practical knowledge of the subjects pursued.
