The NIRF rankings 2025 for engineering colleges determine the outline rank for all engineering institutions across the country. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, released the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2025 in September 2025. IIT Madras is placed in the first position, followed by IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, and so on.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework was established in 2015 by the Honourable MHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.
