SOA University Admission

Admission at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University is based on the marks secured by the candidates in their previous examinations. It is also compulsory for students to attend the national level entrance test organized by the institute called the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT).

SOA University Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are based on the courses chosen by the candidates. Below are some details regarding the eligibility criteria.

SOA University B.Tech Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship, with at least 60% marks.
• Passed Minimum Three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 50% marks from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Odisha or equivalent.

SOA University M.Tech Eligibility

• Passed in B.Tech. or equivalent in the relevant field.
• Obtained at least 50% marks

SOA University BCA Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream. 

SOA University MCA Eligibility

• Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree or,
• Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at graduation level.
• Obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

SOA University B.Pharm Eligibility

• Candidates shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted respective states/Central Government Authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one the subject. 
•  obtained at least 45% marks.

SOA University M.Pharm Eligibility

• Passed B.Pharm Degree examination from an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks.
• Every student selected for admission to the Post Graduate programme in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council
• The candidate having valid GPAT Score can apply and shall get preference in selection.

SOA University MSc Eligibility

• Passed in bachelor degree in Science / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering & Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics/ B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Pharm / M.Pharm or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks.

SOA University BSc Eligibility

• Passed in10+2 examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates must have passed in English 10+2 examination.

SOA University BBA Eligibility

• Pass the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.    

SOA University MBA Eligibility

• Passed minimum three years of Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts / B.E. / B.Tech. / MBBS / B.Pharm. / B.Sc. Agri. / BVSC / BHMS / BAMS / BDS / BPT / BHMCT / BBA / BCA examination or equivalent, from any recognized University with at least 50% marks.
