Placements and Internships
I did an internship for 6 months in MAQ Software in Hyderabad. Key companies are Microsoft, Adobe, Thought works, persistent, Intel. Average salary this year was INR 5 LPA, Highest Salary was 10 LPA Students from here work in very renowned companies like Microsoft, Intel and many more.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel. PGs normally charges 5000-6000 per month. There is canteen in the college. Per meal, it would cost around 30rs. There are separate classrooms, labs, and libraries with centralized AC. There is the facility of WiFi also.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
• Admission is done on the basis of WBJEE or JEE mains entrance exam.
• Apply for the counselling and if the rank is below the cutoff you can take admission
• For Computer Science Engineering Cutoff is near to 15000 in general
Academics and Faculty
Classes are 5 times a week. Class timings may vary from 8am-1 pm or 2pm-7pm Quality of teaching not very good. It is as it is in most of the colleges in India. Overall experience has been very good. I have learned so many languages and new technologies from here.
Fees and Scholarships
A course fee is 80000 per year. The scholarship is not given by the college. Students can apply for State Scholarship schemes. Yes.It is easily available as there is a PNB bank within the campus which deals with this sort of things.
Clubs and Associations
There are various societies like drama, fashion, Sports, Literature. Annual Sports, Vivarta(tech fest), Sahotsava(Cultural) In general the life in college is very amazing.

Placements & Internships : The college has provided me with a Digital Marketing(content development) internship at Bangalore for a period of 2 months. The stipend I am recieving is INR 5000. Companies that visit the campus during the placement drives include - WIPRO, COGNIZANT, IBM, Microsoft, TCS, CTS among various others. The average starting salary figures range from INR 6-INR 8 lakh INR annually. the highest salary to date is INR 11 lakh INR (cost to company) given by Microsoft. Placement percentages vary from discipline to discipline and batch to batch but approximately 60% of the students graduating from Techno India University graduate with a job in hand. The Alumni network is not too great, to be honest.
