SVIST Eligibility Criteria

In order to take admission in any course at SVIST, Kolkata, the students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as decided by the college. Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria of the courses offered.

SVIST B.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates need to have cleared 10+2 (PCM) or equivalent courses from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in aggregate.
• The candidate must be a valid rank holder of WBJEE/ AIEEE (now JEE Mains).
• According to the present Govt. of West Bengal norms candidates without a WBJEE/ AIEEE (now JEE Mains) rank is eligible for admission to our college provided there are vacant seats after counselling.
• For Lateral Entry, after passing diploma eng. with a 60% average and no backlog from any AICTE approved institute along with a valid rank in JELET, students can apply for lateral admission in the 2nd-year 3rd Semester.

SVIST MBA Eligibility

• The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University

SVIST Diploma Eligibility

• The candidates must have cleared their class 10th examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
