Admission to the M.Phil course shall be made on the basis of satisfactory performance at the Master’s Degree Examination and the performance in a test conducted by the Department/College concerned.
Admission to the M.Phil course shall be made at the beginning of either the 1st term or the 2nd term depending upon the convenience of the concerned Department/College.
Admission to the course is entirely on the basis of an Entrance Exam.
Since various colleges conduct different Entrance Examinations or follow the state or national level common entrance examination, it is important to keep a track of these different Entrance Exams.
Candidates who are applying for the M.Phil Education program should beforehand have their results from the respective Entrance Exams required by the selected/opted Universities.
Applications for admissions can be availed either from the University website or by visiting the Admissions Office of the same. Candidates will have to fill out the required details in a match with the existing documents.
Candidates are advised to have a look at the list of Entrance Exams applicable for M.Phil Education, for various Universities. Candidates should also make sure they qualify in Education Eligibility criteria with the minimum required marks.
However, candidates are advised to go through the topics in their Bachelor level of education and before for better understanding of the topics and to successfully crack the Entrance Examinations.
The entrance exams would include 100 subjective questions. The time allowed for the exam is 3 hours and the paper is of 100 marks.
The paper consists of no Negative marking. The syllabus for the entrance exam is usually the syllabus followed in Master of Education. However few of the topics are as follows:
