  • A different curriculum where we study a subject for entire two weeks and then at the end of the second week we write an exam.
  • This helps us to concentrate well in each and every subject & also gives a good understanding of the concepts well.
  • The classes are interactive and filled with assignments. Assignments are the major source of learning that we get along with fun.
  • Some assignments are to be done as teams and some as individual ones. This gives us an opportunity to involve with each and every member in the class.
  • Teams are formed in such a way that we get know to know about the key strengths and weaknesses of almost every person in the class.
  • We have PGPX's (Executive MBA) who have work experiences for 5 or more years.
  • This helps us to think about one problem in different perspectives and arrive at more than one solution.
  • Faculties come from different international B-schools has given us the chance of experiencing different styles of teaching from different faculties.
  • Experiencing something different and new is just exciting about MYRA!
  • We are also provided with a student exchange program. Here the students(5-7) who have top grades in year 1, are given the opportunity of pursuing 4-6 months of year 2 at the Catholica University, Lisbon, Portugal.
  • This provides an amazing platform to experience a different learning and a different culture with a different set of students.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY
  • The program is highly demanding and needs a lot of input from the students, the faculty are really helpful with most of them being guest lecturers from different universities from all around the world.
  • The class timings are regular and the classes get over by 6 in the evening.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
  • The ratings are not exaggerated! The fact that MYRA has many foreign faculties flying in has become a founding stone for all the exchange programs abroad.
  • With a small cohort system, there is a high probability that every student making it to a foreign exchange program, each program spanning about 4 to 6 months.
  • So far there is an exchange program tied with Brothel school of business at the U.S., Catholica school of business at Portugal and lately, a new add-in is the Julius Maximilian University Würzburg in Germany. the startling part is these programs are even open for the PGPX who have a tight schedule of 1 yr.
  • It has become paramount to have an international exposure and so is the Management of MYRA focused on providing.
  • I guess this is a great platform provided to visit various cultures From one school.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY
  • A unique blend of offshore and onshore teaching faculty is the USP. The program is a span of 2 years, it follows an immersion model where a student is completely engrossed into a subject at a time helping him to explore to the depth of the ocean.
  • Every faculty out here believes in the model as it has provided commendable results.
  • The faculty correlates a student life in a beginner in a deep pool, where the beginner is pushed into a deep pool where he struggles and tries his best, in fact, this helps in bringing out the survival instinct or the hidden talent of the student due to the adrenalin rush.
  • Progressively over the period of 2 weeks, the faculty is renowned for getting one learn to swim but after deep exploration in the subject. Which supports the T model of knowledge possession, as recommended by IBM and is the need of the hour.
  • Majority of the faculty is flown in from, Portugal, Arizona  state, Brothel University at Washington, IIMB from India, etc. students life is pretty hectic especially the PGPX program which is more like sailing on 2 boats i.e. Pgdm1 and pgdm2, but this is a blessing in disguise for all the PGDMs, as we get to work closely and collaborate on cases and projects with highly experienced that too with 2 consecutive batches over the PGDM program.
  • Hence the Exposure is immense. Life at Mysore, there being the least bad cultural influence, is unpopulated and full of bliss.
  • It being the yoga hub, everyone imbibes an essence of how to keep the balance between mental and physical life. Hence an extraordinary course with a highly competitive pricing, and at a location like Mysore where everyone feels at a sanctum is a surely a great choice for you at this moment.

Hi Manabendra,

The following are prerequisites and preferences for PGDM/PGPX admissions:

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree

We require a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% and above, from a recognized institution. Your subject background, extra-curricular activities, awards, and recognitions are also considered.

Entrance Exam

Applicants should have valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/GRE scores. We regard entrance exam scores as helpful indicators of academic ability and achievement when considered thoughtfully amongst other factors.

MYRA's PGDM program is AICTE approved and hence accepts CMAT scores.

Work Experience

PGDM: We prefer our PGDM students to have at least two years of experience. We believe that students bring their professional experience to the class and contribute to the cohort interactions and are able to take away more. However, we also welcome exceptionally bright fresh graduates who possess drive and confidence.

PGPX: We require our PGPX students to have five or more years of experience. This advanced programme assumes foundational knowledge in general management theory as well as experience at the managerial level.

Written Essay

The statement of purpose essay forms an important basis for selection to our programmes. Your essay should showcase evidence of leadership, professional promise, your career goals, your personality, and reasons for pursuing higher education. (Word limit: 2000)

We look forward to receiving your application. Please note the dates below when preparing to apply. After we receive your application, our Admissions Office would review it based on the above mentioned criteria and subsequently schedule a Personal Interview for a date and time that is mutually convenient.

Scholarships galore!

If your GMAT score is above 700 / CAT score is above 95 percentile – 40% tuition fee waiver

If your GMAT score is between 650 - 700 / CAT score is between 90 – 95 percentile – 30% tuition fee waiver

If your GMAT score is between 600 - 650 / CAT score is between 85 – 90 percentile – 20% tuition fee waiver
