NTSE Delhi 2023

The NTSE Delhi stage 1 examination 2023 is expected in offline/online mode. Students can collect their roll numbers from their respective school authorities. The NTSE Delhi application form is available on the official website of NTSE Delhi. There was no fee required for the application for the NTSE Exam. Students had to download the forms and submit the filled NTSE Delhi application form cum admit card to the head of the schools.

NTSE 2023 is a two-stage scholarship exam. Stage 1 is a state-level examination, whereas stage 2 is a national-level examination and the dates are yet to be announced for the same. NTSE 2023 Scholarships Amount

The total number of NTSE scholarships that will be distributed to candidates who qualify for both stages of the exam is INR 2000.

NTSE Delhi Admit Card 2023

The details related to NTSE Delhi admit card is mentioned below:

  • The NTSE Delhi admit card 2023 in offline mode will be released by the Directorate of Education.
  • Schools can collect the Delhi NTSE admit cards from the Science branch of the Department on behalf of their students.
  • Students can get their NTSE hall ticket after November 2023, from respective school authorities.
  • The candidates should have to carry their stage 1 admit card while appearing in the test.
  • NTSE Delhi admit card 2023 will contain the candidate and examination details such as exam venue, date, and time.

NTSE Delhi 2023 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must read the NTSE eligibility criteria of the stage 1 examination with utmost care. If any of the given eligibility terms are not satisfied, it may lead to the cancellation of NTSE forms without any prior intimation.

  • Candidates who are enrolled in class 10th in the current academic year 2020-21 are eligible for the NTSE Delhi 2023.
  • Candidates must have passed the 9th class from a government, government-aided, and recognized private schools including KVS, JNV, NDMC, etc.
  • Students who are willing to appear for the exam must have secured 60% marks in class IX (55% marks for SC/ST categories) in the session 2023-24.
  • There is no minimum income limit required.

NTSE Delhi 2023 Application Form

The NTSE Delhi application form was released by the Directorate of Education, Delhi in August 2023, on the official website. In the NTSE application form, the candidates had to fill their basic and academic details. The steps to submit the NTSE Delhi application forms offline are mentioned below-

  • Open the official website of the Directorate of Education, Delhi, to download the application form.
  • Fill all the details correctly in the application form and paste your photograph.
  • The NTSE Delhi application form must get signed by the Head/Principal of the institute.
  • Submit the application form at their respective schools.

NTSE Delhi 2023 Exam Pattern

The question paper contains two sections, Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

  • There will be a total of 200 MCQs.
  • Each question carries one mark.
  • The SAT paper contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
  • There is no negative marking for an incorrect response.

NTSE Delhi 2023 Syllabus

For the NTSE Delhi exam, there is no prescribed syllabus. But as per the NCERT norm, students should prepare the class 9th and 10th syllabus for the NTSE preparation. The question would be asked from Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies. The NTSE syllabus for stage 1 and stage 2 remains the same, but the difficulty level varies for each stage, i.e., there will be an enhancement in the difficulty level.

Delhi NTSE Question Papers

The previous year’s NTSE Delhi question papers will be released by the exam conducting authority for students’ help. Candidates can treat these papers as NTSE sample papers and solve them to know the pattern and important topics of the exam. Solving the NTSE question papers in a specified time will help in learning time management too. This practice increases your chances to score well in the examination.

NTSE Delhi Answer Key 2023

The official NTSE Delhi answer key will be released a few weeks after the exam date by the Directorate of Education, Delhi. A few coaching institutes also published the NTSE 2023 answer key in the online mode on the day of the exam before the official release. Candidates can find the correct answers to each question asked in the NTSE 2023 question paper. Students can also use the NTSE Delhi answer key to calculate an estimate of their scores for the exam.

NTSE Delhi 2023 Question Paper Analysis by FIITJEE

  • The question paper consisted of the two sections; viz Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) having 100 questions and Mental Ability (MAT) having 100 questions.
  • The total number of questions is 200, and each question carries one mark.
  • It is a 4-hour examination which is scheduled between 10 am and 2 pm.

Section-wise Analysis

MAT section was easy, but in some of the questions, there was a specific error, and therefore bonus marks could be awarded.

  • In Mathematics, questions were equally from classes 9 and 10. The questions were either moderate or difficult & lengthy.
  • All the questions of Physics were easy to moderate and could be solved with the application of the concept appropriately used.
  • Almost all questions of Biology were from class 10th and were moderately difficult. The candidates who have referred to NCERT books only could have faced some difficulty, whereas those who referred to extra books could have solved the questions easily.
  • Almost all questions of Chemistry were from class 10 and were either easy or moderate.
  • Questions in Social Science were easy and more questions were asked from class 10 than class 9.

NTSE Delhi Result 2023

Delhi NTSE 2023 result dates are yet to be announced soon, and the result would be uploaded in the form of a pdf file on the official website. Besides, the result will be released on the official website in the form of a merit list. The NTSE result contains, SAT, MAT, and overall scores of the selected candidates. Selected candidates will only be eligible to appear for the Stage 2 examination that is to be conducted by NCERT and dates will be announced soon. The NCERT will decide the exam pattern and syllabus for NTSE stage 2. Besides, the NCERT is also responsible for the NTSE stage 2 result declaration.
