What is VTUEEE?

VTUEEE (Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Test) as the name suggests is an entrance exam that acts as a gateway for admissions to various B.Tech programmes offered by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Saghuntala R&D Institute of Science and Technology conducted in two phases by the institute.

VTUEEE Exam Date 2021 

VTUEEE Exam Dates 2021 will be announced on the official website of the conducting authority. The exam will be conducted in two phases- Phase 1 and Phase 2. The application form for both phases will be available on the official website.

Application form for both the phases will be available on the official website from October 2020 and the last date to fill up the application form for phase 1 is January 2021 and the last day for phase 2 is April 2021 tentatively.

Phase 1 will be conducted offline (pen-paper test) and phase 2 will be conducted both online and offline (computer-based test and pen-paper test). The VTUEEE 2021 tentative dates for both the phases are given below.

VTUEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate's application might be rejected at any time during the process of admission if the candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination. Before appearing for any exam, candidates need to be well versed with eligibility criteria scenarios such that any important events related to eligibility criteria should not be missed out under any circumstances. Applicants must go through the VTUEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. 

Only the candidates who satisfy the Eligibility criteria can apply for VTUEEE 2021. 

Age limit

Aspiring candidates must be below 25 years of age as on 1st July 2021. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Physically Challenged (PC), will get a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit as an eligibility condition.

Age relaxation up to six months will be granted by conducting authority in specific cases. University only considers the Secondary Education Board/University certificate as proof of date of birth to satisfy eligibility criteria.

Qualifying examination

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination to meet eligibility criteria. Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March / April / May 2021 can also appear for Vel tech entrance exam 2021.

For the scholarship, the State from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, neglecting the nativity of the candidate.

VTUEEE 2021 Syllabus

VTUEEE Syllabus 2021 will mostly comprise of what the students have studied in class 11 and 12. Vel Tech University defines the Syllabus of VTUEEE. Candidates who are aspiring to write VTUEEE can prepare according to Syllabus to crack the exam. VTUEEE Syllabus will have 3 subjects, they are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

VTUEEE 2021 Application Form

VTUEEE Application form 2021 can be filled via online mode or offline mode. An application form is available for the VTUEEE 2021 First phase from December 14, 2020. The last date to submit the application for Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be January 2021 and April 2021 respectively. The application fee is INR 950/-.

For Online Mode, candidates can pay either through his/her debit/credit/net banking. For Offline Mode, candidates can pay through a Demand draft in favour of “ Veltech Dr.RR & Dr.SR University”, payable at Chennai.

Documents Required to Apply for VTUEEE

Following are the documents required to apply for VTUEEE Exam 2021:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Marksheet of class 10 and 12
  • Image file of Photograph and Signature
  • A valid debit/credit/net banking for Application fee payment

VTUEEE 2021 Exam Pattern

VTUEEE examination is conducted in both online and offline mode. VTUEEE 2021 exam will be conducted in two phases. Phase I is an offline test, i.e. Pen and Paper-based test. Phase II is subdivided into two tests- Online and Offline.

Exam paper comprises of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Questions will be asked in the form of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). The exam will be conducted for 3 hours. The examination is conducted in two sessions as given below-

10.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m
2.00 p.m to 4.30 p.m

Every correct answer will fetch one mark and a 1/4th mark will be deducted for every wrong answer in VTUEEE 2021.

VTUEEE 2021 Admit Card

VTUEEE 2021 Admit card will be released on two different dates and will be available on the official website. Admit card will be sent by post “Under Certificate of Posting (UCP)” to a candidate (including those who applied online) about two weeks before the conduct of an examination.

To access admit card online, candidates need to enter their application number and password on the official website. Without an admit card candidates will not be allowed to enter the Exam centre so print the admit card and preserve its copy for future reference.

VTUEEE 2021 Exam Centres

Candidates are required to select a centre based on their preference when they are filling an application form. Conducting authority makes every effort to allow the centre opted by a candidate. Centre once allotted will not be changed by an institution under any circumstances.

Documents Required At The Exam Hall

Candidates who are appearing for VTUEEE 2021 Exam should carry the following documents to the exam hall:

  • Admit card
  • Photo ID proof
  • Passport size photograph

VTUEEE 2021 Result

Results will be available on the official website of the conducting authority. VTUEEE 2021 Results for Phase 1 will likely release on February 6, 2021, and the result for phase 2 will likely release in March 6, 2021 tentatively.

Selection Process

Candidates who score high marks in VTUEEE 2021 exam will be called for counselling process and they will be given seats to the courses they have applied for. Courses will be offered based on the ranks that a candidate has scored. There are higher chances that candidates who get good ranks will get the course they Prefer.

VTUEEE 2021 Counselling

VTUEEE 2021 Counselling process will commence after the declaration of the VTUEEE 2021. Counselling is carried out in two phases. Candidates who will qualify for the VTUEEE 2021 cut-offs (based on the ranks secured) will be allowed to take part in the VTUEEE 2021 counselling. Allotment of seats will be based on the candidate's ranks in the Vel Tech entrance exam 2021.

The candidates should carry both, original as well as Xerox documents along with them. Candidates who are going for the VTUEEE counselling should carry the documents mentioned below:

  • VTUEEE Hall Ticket

Candidates who have applied for VTUEEE 2021 can follow the preparation tips given below to crack the exam:

  • Prepare according to the Syllabus it will help you score more.
  • Prepare a schedule to study all the sections.
  • Refer to the previous year question papers you will get an idea about the type of questions asked.
  • Take mock tests often and assess your performance.

The Exam paper is offline mode and online mode is not available. No, there is no negative marking for the incorrect response. Check all the exam pattern related information at the exam pattern section of the VTUEEE exam section.
