MH SET exam pattern 2024 was released by the Savitribai Phule Pune University which details the exam's general pattern, including the total number of questions, the scoring system, the exam's duration, the maximum amount of points, and the courses.
MH SET exam pattern consists of two exams, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each with a unique exam pattern. Objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Teaching and Research Aptitude comprise MH SET Paper 1's general character. Paper 2 is administered in 32 subjects, in contrast. Every question on both exams must be answered.
Paper I and Paper II are the two sessions used in the MH SET selection procedure. The two exams are held back-to-back on the same day. According to the MH SET exam pattern 2024, the paper I is given 100 marks, while paper II is worth 200. Highlights of MH SET Exam Pattern 2024
MH SET 023 will be completed in Objective Mode offline. Two papers will make up the MH SET. On the day of the exam, two sessions will be held without a break for each paper, which will exclusively contain objective-type questions.
OMR papers with questions tried from both parts, viz., II & III shall be dismissed. Paper II will contain 100 compulsory MCQs of two marks each from the subject selected by the candidate, and this paper duration has been two hours (120 minutes). Kindly note that the MH SET 2024 will only be based on two papers as per UGC-NET.

MH SET Exam Pattern 2024 for Paper 1
Paper I will be general and evaluate the candidate's aptitude for teaching and research. It primarily assesses the candidate's general awareness, comprehension, and reasoning skills. Paper, I will have 50 mandatory objective-type questions worth 2 points each. Four sets of the Test Booklet Codes A, B, C, and D are included in Paper I.
The student must ensure that Paper I's OMR page has the same Test Booklet Code pre-printed and pre-shaded. Questions from the Teaching and Research Aptitude part are found in Paper 1 of the MH SET test. There will be 50 mandatory MCQs in the exam, each worth 2 points. MH SET Exam Pattern 2024 for Paper 2
Paper II will comprise one hundred (100) mandatory objective-type questions on the candidate's chosen topic (except for mathematical science). Two marks will be given for each question. A student must attempt all of the questions (100) in Mathematical Science, either from Sections I & II or I & III.
Paper 2 of the MH SET 2024 is offered in 32 topics. Applicants must select the Paper 2 subject based on their PG level subject when submitting their MH SET application. A total of 100 MCQs worth 2 points each will be included in Paper 2's question paper. Applicants will have two hours to complete the exam. - Paper II will carry 200 marks.
- Each question is of 2 marks.

Note: "A student must attempt all of the problems (100) in Mathematical Science, either from Sections I & II or just Sections I & III. MH SET 2024 Marking Scheme
For each right response in Papers 1 and 2 of the MH SET, applicants receive 2 marks. The exam does not deduct points for incorrect responses or skipped questions.
