National Interactive Science Olympiad 2024

EduHeal is trying to make an effort to generate science interest in students. By demonstrating how science can change the world and the different kinds of research in different fields, they want to remove the misconception that science cannot be interesting and show how important it is in today's circumstances.

To achieve this vision, EduHeal Foundation is conducting the National Interactive Science Olympiad (NISO 2024). With questions testing one's skills of applying school knowledge and conducting workshops, seminars, and trips to reputed institutions and organizations working towards research, they want students to understand how exciting science can be.

NISO 2024 Important Details

  • Upon successful registration, syllabus guidelines, and sample questions for each class will be addressed.
  • NISO 2024 comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Every detail in the OMR sheet must be filled in precisely and correctly.
  • Incomplete information in the OMR may lead to the disqualification of candidates.

NISO 2024 Registration

The exam is open for the students of classes 1 to 12, and the students will receive registration forms from the schools. A nominal participation fee will be charged from each student, part of which will be retained by the school for its expenses as an exam center. Details about the fee/mode of payment etc. will be given in the school registration forms, which will be soon sent to the registered schools. 

The candidates participating must be a class 1st to the class 12th student of CBSE, ICSE, state board, or NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The school must send the NISO 2024 application form to reach before the last date, i.e., August 2024. Students should submit their signed parent consent forms to their respective coordinators.

Please Note: A charge of INR 125 (including 18% GST) for the examination cost is payable by each participant for schools. Moreover, the school will collect an amount of INR 25 from each student towards the honorarium in charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide.

National Interactive Science Olympiad (NISO 2024) Levels:

  • Level 1 (city/state): Pen paper test (OMR) will be based on multiple-choice questions on CBSE, ICSE, state, and IB syllabus; To be conducted in your school.
  • Level 2 (national): Successful toppers from school will participate in an online/computer-based test conducted at exam centers/in the school computer lab all over India in February 2024. These tests will have interactive questions. The syllabus will be the same as that was in level-1.
  • Level 3 (international): In February, toppers from level 2 will be chosen for International Olympiad Training Camps (IOTC), which will mentor these toppers for project-based competitions conducted by Oracle Foundations Think Quest. Top scientists from IIT, Delhi, will mentor IOTC.

EduHeal NISO 2024 Admit Card

The admit card is crucial for the students during the exam as they cannot enter the NISO 2024 examination hall without a hall ticket.

  • NISO admit cards will be sent to respective schools. Students can contact their respective teachers for hall tickets.
  • Students need to fill in the information correctly in the registration forms, as the same will appear in certificates.

EduHeal NISO 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus is sent as a prospectus to school along with the exam preparation guide or can be checked on the EHF Olympia App. NISO 2024 syllabus will be in pdf format so that students can download the syllabus hustle free.

NISO 2024 Marking Scheme

Questions will be of 1 mark each, and there is no negative marking. In case if more than one student scores the same marks, the following preference concerning the marking will be followed:

  1. Subject questions
  2. General IQ
  3. Interactive questions

In case the tie continues, other parameters, including a telephonic interview, will be followed.

EduHeal NISO 2024 Results

  • NISO 2024 results will be available on the official website of the EduHeal Foundation. The EduHeal NISO 2024 result will be declared for all students nationwide.
  • The whole procedure of checking answer sheets and incorporating results takes 2-3 weeks from the last examination.

EduHeal NISO 2024 Awards

  • Fifty lakhs cash prize, including high-quality IIT-JEE/PMT study material, will be awarded to participating students, teachers, and principals.
  • Besides, students will get the fabulous prizes given by the GSF (Google Science Fair), including the school award. EHF will be conducting the training and mentoring camp for GSF.
  • There is a special prize for participation in 5 or more EHF Olympiads.
  • The first camp was held on 26 April 2013, at the National Science Centre, New Delhi. Out of the 1000 plus entries received from schools across the globe, the top 100 students were invited to present their projects to the judges from IIT, Delhi.
