The National Interactive Science Olympiad syllabus is very important to help students prepare for NISO 2022. The syllabus gives a detailed idea about topics that are asked in the exam. Students can divide topics that are strong and also topics that need more attention.   • Metals and nonmetals: physical and chemical properties of metals, the reaction of metals & nonmetals, the occurrence of metals, and corrosion
  • Control and coordination: Animals-nervous system, coordination in plants, hormones, and animals.
  • Electricity: electric current & circuit, electric potential & potential difference circuit diagram, Ohm's law, factors on which the resistance of a conductor depends, the resistance of a system of resistors, heating effect of electric current, and electric power.
  • Magnetic effects of electric current: magnetic field & magnetic lines, magnetic field current-carrying conductor, the force on a current-carrying conductor in a magnetic field, and electric motor
  • Magnetic effects of electric current: electromagnetic induction, electric generator, and domestic electric circuit
  • Carbon and its compounds: bonding in carbon-the covalent bond and versatile nature of carbon.
