UP B.Ed. JEE stands for Uttar Pradesh Batchelor of Education Joint Entrance Examination, which is a state-level entrance exam conducted for providing admissions to eligible candidates in the B.Ed courses offered at various colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is held on an annual basis. This examination is an online computer-based test that is going to be conducted in the second week of April, 2021.

What is UP B.Ed JEE?
UP B.Ed. JEE is the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board in partnership with the University of Lucknow for the course of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). The partner university selected is different every year. This entrance exam is for the students who aspire to join the Bachelor of Education Program which is a course spanning for two years.

UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria is structured by the Uttar Pradesh Board. Candidates must make sure to fulfil all the eligibility criteria for UP B.Ed. Age limit:
- The candidate should be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- There is no upper age limit for this exam.
Citizenship/Domicile:
- The candidate has to be a citizen of India.
- If the candidate is a state resident of Uttar Pradesh and has the domicile certificates, he/she will have an advantage in the seat matrix.
Educational Qualification:
- An aspiring candidate is required to have graduated from any recognized university in the country.
- B.Tech./B.E. graduates need to have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks to be eligible to sit for this exam.
- Non-B.Tech./B.E. Graduates need to have a minimum of 50% marks.
Note: The application of the candidate can be rejected at any time if the details furnished by the candidate is found to be false. The document verification takes place during the counselling process of the exam.
UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Application Form
The UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 application form will be available on the official website from Feb 18, 2021 onwards. Candidates need to register themselves with their respective valid email id and contact number. All other required details like educational and personal details should be uploaded by the applicant within the form. It is important to fill in all the details required in the application form correctly. So, it is advisable to keep the documents ready to be used along with the scanned copy of Photograph and Signature.
Steps for UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Registration:
- To register candidates have to visit the official website for the UP B.Ed exam.
- To fill in the application, click on “Candidate Registration”.
- If this is the first time logging in, then click on “ New User Registration” or click on “Existing User”.
- After filling in the basic details of the candidate such as Name, Phone No., Email ID, etc. a nine-digit registration is generated.
- This number is to confirm the registration of the candidate.
Steps to fill UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Application Form:
- After registering, the candidate can start filling in the application form with the necessary details such as parents’ names, education, date of birth, etc.
- The candidates also need to mention their Aadhar card number, nationality and state address.
- Before clicking on the “Submit” button, the candidate needs to review all the information provided to make sure there aren’t any mistakes.

- Candidates need to attach their required documents along with the scanned photo and signature.
- The scanned images of the photograph and signature should not be more than 50Kb and 20Kb respectively.

The admit cards for the UP B.Ed entrance exam will be released from May 10, 2021 on the official website. Candidates should note that the admit cards will not be sent to them through postal services and they should view and download the same from the website only. The UP B.Ed. UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Exam Pattern
The UP B.Ed JEE exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 has two parts i.e; Part A - General Knowledge (Compulsory) and Part B - Language (Hindi/English). Paper 2 also has two parts i.e; Part A - General Aptitude and Part B - Subject Ability.
- This is a pen and paper-based examination.
- All questions are objective type questions.
- Each paper for this examination is for 3 hours.
- Each section contains 50 questions.
- Each question carries 2 marks.
- ⅓ rd of a mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The total number of questions in the examination is 200, the total marks are 400 and the total time duration is 6 hours.

UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Merit List
The merit list for the B.Ed examination will be announced shortly after the results. This list will contain the names of the candidates who have qualified the examination.
- The merit list will be categorized based on categories i.e; general, OBC, SC/ST
- If there is a tie between two or more candidates, then the board will settle this using a unique method of breaking the tie.
The selection process for the Merit List:
- If two or more candidates secure the same marks, then the candidate from the same university or affiliated to as that of the conducting body will be given preference.
- If two or more candidates from the same university secure the same marks, then the candidate will be chosen based on age. That is, the older candidate will be given preference.
UP B.Ed. JEE 2021 Counselling
The candidates who qualify the exam are invited to attend the counselling process.
- The qualified candidates will be contacted via email or mobile number.
- The notification for the venue and timings of the counselling will be displayed on the official website.
- After the counselling, candidates are required to get their documents verified.
- After the verification of documents, candidates are given a few days for the submission of the admission fee.

UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Seat Allotment
Candidates who wish to appear for the UP B.Ed JEE 2021 need to know all the information regarding the seat allotment process to avoid any issues during the seat allotment stage. All candidates should have registered their names to appear for the seat allotment process. The UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Counseling is held in three rounds followed by the seat allotment process.
