Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, also known as CSJMU or Kanpur University, is a public state university established in 1966. Located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the CSJMU campus spans over 264 acres. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, BCI, PCI, NCTE, and AIU, and is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. CSJMU Admission 2025

CSJMU admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination, national-level entrance examinations, state-level entrance examinations, or CSJMU-based entrance examinations, depending on the course. Students seeking admission must fulfill the CSJMU eligibility criteria set by the university and appear for the relevant entrance examination. Interested students should follow the below-mentioned  CSJMU admission criteria for admissions:

• BTech: Candidates seeking admission to BTech must appear for the JEE Main and participate in the CSJMU counselling
• MBA: Candidates seeking admission to MBA must appear for the CAT/GMAT and participate in the CSJMU counselling for the seat allotment process.
• MBBS/BDS: Candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS must appear for the NEET UG and participate in the NEET UG Counselling for the seat allotment process.
• BSc: Admissions to BSc are based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. For the seat allotment process via the Samarth portal for JMU registration.

CSJMU Cutoff 2025 (Released)

CSJMU Cutoff 2025 varies by course and exam. JEE Main is required for B.Tech, NEET UG for MBBS/BDS, and CAT/GMAT for MBA. Additionally, CSJMU conducts its own entrance tests for various UG and PG programs, with merit-based admissions also applicable to select non-professional courses.
