International Management Institute New Delhi was established in the year 1981, it is one of the leading management institutes of India. IMI Delhi is the country's first corporate sponsored business school. The Institution is accreditated by National Board of Accreditation [NBA] and Association of MBA's [AMBA]. IMI Delhi offers PGDM course of 2 years. The program develops managers who can handle responsibilities in different business domains. The emphasis is on developing a holistic manager with a vision to take new challenges in a socially sensitive manner.


FPM is Fellow Programme in Management, it is the doctoral program of the International Management Institute [IMI]. The FPM students are expected to work closely in their areas of interest with the faculty members of IMI. The programme includes intensive formal courses, individually pursued self-study courses on special topics and at the core lies the research programme.


E-FPM is Executive Fellow Programme in Management, it is the part-time doctoral program of International Management Institute [IMI]. This programme is designed for working professionals and the structure focuses on preparing the candidates, through a rigorous and well-crafted path that helps them achieve excellence in career.


PGDMHRM [Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management] is of 2 years, the program exposes all students to the core concepts and practice the business management across functional domains and then helps students take a deep dive into the domain of HR thus making them ready to become a business professional with HR expertise.

IMI Fees:

IMI Delhi offers programs in the discipline of Management. The fee structure for the major courses is mentioned below:

  • The course fee for FPM is INR 678,500 per annum.
  • The tuition fee for all PGDM programs (except PGDM- Executive) is INR 672,000 (1st year) and INR 780,000 (2nd year).

  • Williamson Major Library is present on the campus which has 25660 books from a variety of fields. 6779 periodicals are being subscribed to by the library.

Institute offers scholarships on the basis of pre-determined criteria. International Management Institute Scholarship is available in the form of fellowship stipend, grant and other forms of financial support.


  • If selected for the IMI Fellowship, the candidates get a monthly stipend of INR 25,000/, in the first and second year, and INR 30,000/- during the third and fourth year.
  • The scholars who are getting a JRF/ SRF fellowship are not eligible for this fellowship.


  • IMI Fellowship holders are eligible for a grant to purchase books, hardware, software, etc.
  • For a maximum amount of INR 30,000 per year can be availed by third and fourth-year students of the program that have successfully completed the comprehensive exam.

Financial Conference Support:

  • After successfully completing the comprehensive exam, all scholars are eligible for the conference support for presenting and attending conferences.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure

International Management Institute Eligibility Criteria: 

The International Management Institute New Delhi offers courses under the field of management and all the programs have a different set of eligibility criteria. The criteria are mentioned below in detail.

Courses Eligibility
  • The candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized University.
  • The candidates must have a valid CAT/ GMAT score.
Executive PGDM
  • The candidates must have 5 years of experience working in the corporate sector.
  • The candidates must have completed Graduation in any stream with 50% aggregate.
  • The candidates must have passed the Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have a valid CAT/ GMAT score.
  • The candidates must have completed a Master's degree in any stream with 55% aggregate or
  • The Candidates should have a B.Tech degree with 60% marks with one-year work experience (or)
  • The Candidates must have any professional degree like CA, CMA, and CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a University recognized by AIU.
  • The candidates must have Work Experience of at least 5 years in the relevant field.
  • The candidates must have completed a Master's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or)
  • The candidates must have completed B.Tech with at least 60% or equivalent.

IMI Admissions:

Admission is decided based on CAT or GMAT score. The Indian Institute of Management conducts the exam at different centres all over the country. 

  • An application form can be submitted through online mode.
  • The Candidate can fill the online application form and submit it along with the application fee of INR 2200/- which is non-refundable.
  • If the candidates choose to opt for another programme also, he/ she can pay an extra fee of INR 500/- per programme.
  • Receipts for Admission will be generated online.
