Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) was established in 1995 with the vision to develop a robust interface with the industry. LBSIM offers admission to management courses such as the Postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM), Fellowship Programme in Management, and Executive Education or Management Development Programme. The admission to these courses is made based on XAT/CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA and GATE exams. Admissions 2023 are open for a two-year full-time PGDM course for the batch 2023-2025. • October 8, 2022: Dr. Bakul Dholakia, former director of IIM Ahmedabad awarded the 23rd LBS National Award for Excellence.

The institute has conducted high-impact Management Development Programmes for executives at the middle, senior, and top manager levels. LBSIM Admission

LBSIM admissions are open for a two-year full-time PGDM course for the batch 2022-2024 in various specializations. LBSIM Dekhi offers courses in the field of management. These include PGDM in six specializations, FPM and MDP courses. Admissions into the college are based on CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA and GATE exams, followed by group discussion, extempore, work experience, and personal interview for final selection. However, the eligibility criteria are listed below as follows.

LBSIM Eligibility Criteria

In addition to the entrance exams, candidates need to satisfy eligibility standards proposed by LBSIM to secure admission. Below are the basic eligibility requirements demanded by the institution for various courses.

PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed three years of bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university/ college. 
• Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply, provided they present proof of obtaining 50% marks or equivalent in the exams.
• Candidates must have appeared in CAT/ GMAT/ XAT entrance tests.

FPM Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must possess a master’s Degree or equivalent in Management/Economics/Social Science/Physical Science/ Commerce/ Humanities or any related and allied discipline with first class or 60% marks or Equivalent Grade.
• Aspirants can also possess a five-year integrated master’s degree program in any discipline with at least 60% marks (with first division), obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2).
• Those appearing for their final examination can also apply.

LBSIM Cutoff

LBSIM is yet to release the cutoff for 2022. LBSIM offers enrollment to the PGDM and FPM programmes. To take admission to the institute, candidates must meet the minimum cut-off criteria set up by the institute in various entrance tests like CAT/ GMAT and XAT. Apart from this, candidates are also shortlisted based on prior academic performance, work experience, and other information disclosed in the Application form.
