INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
3 buildings, all on rent!!! Moreover, each one is the size of a normal school (or even smaller). Although the main campus is in progress.. 525 ACRES!!!

HOSTELS & FOOD
Housing is completely A class in a private township! ^_^   Food is completely mess! Although, it is the condition everwhere, so can't complain on that one!

Virtual Classroom

 
The virtual classroom in IIT Indore is a part of the National Knowledge Network launched on 5th February 2011 by the Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Kapil Sibal. It is a state-of-the-art Pan-India network which envisages connecting all higher centres of learning and research by bringing together all stakeholders from science, technology, higher education, healthcare, agriculture and governance to a common platform. IITI is one out of the three IITs included in this network. It has features such as live video streaming presentations, shared internet access, virtual whiteboard, a media centre, application, file and desktop sharing and public and private text chat. Central Library

 
The Central Library provides vital support for on-going teaching programmes and research at IIT Indore. The library is  rapidly developing its collection of books, reference books, periodicals, and electronic resources. At present, the Library has a collection of over 27,000+ books, which includes, in addition to text books and reference books, a fine collection of books on Literature and English Language and a select collection of books on Sports, Biographies, and General Interest titles. The Magazines and Newspaper Section includes popular Magazines and Newspapers both in English and Hindi.
 
Online Information Resources are vital for academic and research institutes in today's knowledge economy. The library provides its users access to nearly 3800 electronic journals. In addition to this, the Library provides access to databases such as ACM Digital Library, IEEE XPlore Digital Library, Science Direct, MathSciNet, JSTOR, SciFinder, Taylor and Francis, WILEY, Springer, and many more. The air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled Reading Hall provides a peaceful environment conducive to study.
 
 

The Student's Gymkhana of IIT Indore was established in 2009. It is the student governing body of the institute and is run entirely by the students. The main aim of the gymkhana is o promote various extra-curricular activities and to help nurture the talents of the students. It also aims at fostering the leadership qualities of the students and imbibes in them the priceless values of hard work, teamwork and sincerity.

The Student's Gymkhana comprises of The Executive Wing and The Senate. The Executive Wing includes the General Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Academic Secretary, Sports Secretary, Science and Technology Secretary and Transport Secretary. The Executive Wing is the main decision making body and is responsible for all the activities pertaining to the students. The Senate acts as a link between the students and the Executive Wing and the executive wing acts as the link between students and the administration. The members of the Executive Wing as well as the Senate are elected through general elections.

The Student's Gymkhana has a say in all major policy decisions concerning the students. The Academic Secretary is always a part of the IUGC meeting.

The Gymkhana is instrumental in harbouring a feeling of brotherhood amongst students from different ethnicities and it is this harmony which holds the welfare of the students in good stead.

Hostels:

IIT Indore provides campus housing of higher standards for students of IIT Indore. IIT Indore have two hostels which has more than 40 flats and 20 cottages near temporary campus and around.
