The union government of India has approved a total of 22 All India Institutions of Medical Sciences. Out of these 22, only 16 are active and running, with several awaiting cabinet approval, budgeting, or still under the planning phase. AIIMS Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG Courses
To obtain admission into an AIIMS is the aspiration of medical students all across the country. It is no surprise that thousands of students register for admission into AIIMS every year. Students should keep in mind the following pointers before applying for AIIMS.
- The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2 with an aggregate 60% minimum.
- Candidates must be 17 years old as of 31st December 2022. Additionally, candidates born on or after 2nd January 2005 are not eligible to apply.
- AIIMS 2023 admission for UG Courses will be done through NEET scores. Candidates must clear the cut-off marks as released by the AIIMS to qualify for admission.
- For admission into PG Courses, the candidates must clear the INI-CET entrance examination.
