Placements and Internships
- You are required to do a compulsary internship of about 45 days after your second year in BBA and prepare an Internship Review Project based on your work and experience during the internship.
- During the third year, various companies come to the campus for placements. Some of the companies that hire are Deloite, Axis Bank, Godrej, DE Shaw, Amazon, Zoho, PWC, EY, TCS, 91 Springboard, Decathlon, Accenture and Zomato to name a few.
- Average salary figures would be around 3 lakhs p.a.
- There is a guaranteed placement for about 90% of the students who sit for the placement process.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are separate hostels for girls and boys on the campus. the hostel fees per year is around Rs. 50,000. Some facilities provided in the hostel are wifi, gym, recreation room, study room, security, etc. The only drawback is that food is not provided in the hostel.
- There are several PGs available within a radius of 1 km from the college campus. Other options are service apartments and flats, which are easily available near college.
- There are more than 10 canteens in the main campus. Students have a variety of food to choose from - maggi, paratha, dosa, idli, north and south indian meals, samosa, sandwich, momos, nachos and fresh juice and beverages. Everything is available at affordable prices.
- The campus has a really good infrastructure with well equipped classrooms, labs and library.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria was a 60% pass percentage in 12th Std. The board can be CBSE, ISC, state or international board.
- The first stage is the entrance exam which can be taken at any of the centres aasigned by the college (The entrance examination is based on Logical Reasoning, Mathematics and English).
- The next is a group discussion conducted by a panel of members, follwed by a personal interview.
Academics and Faculty
- The college timings are from 9 am to 4 pm (weekdays) and 9 am to 1 pm (Saturday).
- The course is divided into 6 semesters and specialisation in the field of Finance, Marketing or HR in the third year.
- Various assignments and projects are given during the course in the form of CIAs. Also, there are various management fests and cultural fests to boost the skills of the students.
- There is an overall development in the personality of the student due to the professional classroom teachings as well as extra curricular activities.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee for the first year was Rs. 1,50,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 each for the next two years.
- Scholarship options are also available to students. 5 students get scholarship per year based on performance.
- Student loans can be available from various banks, if required. The bank affiliated the Christ University branch at Bangalore is South Indian Bank.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various student societies and clubs on campus for various causes. Some of them are the Student Welfare Office, Centre for Social action, Snappers, Nrityapana, Rang, etc.
- The college is vibrant with some fest or event going on during every part of the year. The main festival is during Christmas, when the entire college is lit up with beautiful decorations. The college celebrates Bhasha Utsav on the 5th of September. There are numerous management and cultural fests organised round the year. An entire month is devoted to Sports.
- College life in Christ is pretty vibrant as well as tight and most part of the day is spent on the campus itself. You get to learn a lot in three years and make memories for a lifetime.
