Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com], batch of 2018

The daily routine is quite flexible here. The day starts at 8.30 with a morning prayer in class. Classes will be conducted from 8.30 onwards. Each period is of 50 minutes. There are 2 breaks - short and a lunch break. In total there are 7-8 classes. College ends at 3.30 PM. 

Each classroom is equipped with a projector and smartboard. teachers utilize these technologies effectively. We also go to the auditorium at times for our classes which is fun. Teachers here are a mix of professional and casual. They have a perfect balance. They're well qualified with a wide variety of knowledge. Since it is a girls college, most of the faculty here are women, however, not restricted to a particular gender. every classroom and corridors have CCTV cameras which adds in to the security of the college. 

Overall experience is great. Students learn a lot of new subjects including foreign languages like French, German and Spanish.


There are a number of clubs and associations you can be a part of. MCC's fashion team is very famous and they conduct auditions yearly. If you have a knack for modelling, give it a shot. Then there are others like Indian music Association, Western Music and Dance Association, Security committee, NSS, NCC, etc. Name an activity and you've got an association for that. You'll find out about these clubs on orientation day when they conduct auditions for these clubs. 

The most happening fest of this college is the National level cultural fest called Cul-ah, where many college students come from across the nation, a spectacular display of talents and a mind-boggling performance from our fashion team. The whole college gives a party sort of vibe. Many celebrities also come to our college - like Sana Khan, Sharman Joshi, Rahul Gandhi, etc. 

Overall, college life is very relaxed and one can have a lifetime of experience here.

Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Accountancy), batch of 2021

International Students Association. Kannada Sangha. MCC Model United Nations. Cul Ah is the cultural fest of the college that includes events such as dance, drama, music and academically driven contests like quizzes.Cross Currents is a national-level Commerce Fest and Carpediem is a national-level management fest. In a word, it's just incredible! I just loved the atmosphere. You'll never regret your decision of taking admission there. The teachers are soo cool as well as the students. No ragging, helpful seniors and friendly staff.

The college starts at 8.30 am and ends at 2.10 pm. The classes are conducted daily, followed by frequently conducted assignments and tests. The teaching staff is good.


There are around 50+ associations and clubs. Each department conducts its intercollegiate fest every year. The main college event being CulAh. It is the main scale event where colleges from all over India take part.

The class schedule is different every day, and according to the professor's availability. Generally, the classes start at 8:30 AM and go on till 3:00 PM. The faculty is very supportive and knowledgeable.


There are many associations in dance forms, drama, fashion, department-specific, etc. Cul-Ah is a very famous cultural fest and is conducted every year, inviting people from all colleges in Bangalore.

The weekly schedule is generally fixed, with classes from 8:30/9:00 am to 3:00/4:00 pm. Attendance is strict and can be monitored through the online portal. The teaching method includes ppt on the projectors and blackboards. 

It is a positive studying environment with very knowledgeable professors. 


You have the freedom to have fun along with the studies. With various associations, students are encouraged to take part in atleast one. The associations include Dance (classical, bollywood, and street style), Music, Fashion Team, Sports, Management fest teams, etc.

The biggest and the most popular fest is Cul-Ah which is the cultural fest organized by the student union and many volunteers. The college has many inter and intra collegiate fests on and off-campus. Carpe Diam is the management fest inviting many participants from outside MCC as well.

The faculty here is very experienced, and their approach to teaching makes learning more experiential. Lecturers are very hands-on too, they are up to date on the latest trivia and trends in the field and also inform the students on the same.


The student's association is very active and has organised many events for the students. Gives you a good exposure to help build your personality.

The classrooms are fantastic and the teachers are superb. My experience at the college was amazing.


Every festival is celebrated in the college campus but the surrounding area is a bit different.

Class starts at 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. We get assignments throughout the semester which makes our course quite hectic. The quality and method of teaching are very good. It builds up interest in the student of every subject that we're being taught. The overall experience in college excellent.

The admission What is the admission procedure for B.Com in Mount Carmel College, [MCC] Bangalore is as follows :

The admission policy ensures special consideration to the differently abled, economically backward, scheduled castes and tribes, backward communities and the catholic minority. Except for these special categories, the rest of the seats are allotted purely on merit.

Admissions Procedure

  1. Application forms for admission for the academic year 2016-2017 are available ONLINE
  2. Only online submission of applications will be accepted
  3. Fees for application to be paid through the Payment Gateway (Online Payment)
  4. Application fee for UG Programmes: Rs. 350/ and PG Programmes: Rs. 500/
  5. Fees should be paid on the day of the interview. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.
  6. Students have to study the language (Second language) studied at the last qualifying examination.
