The Department of School Education, Telangana, released the TS TET answer key 2025 on July 06, 2025. Candidates can raise their objections against the answer key through the official website from July 06 to 08, 2025. Candidates can download the answer key and raise their objections through the official website at tgtet.aptonline.in.

Earlier, the Government of Telangana released the exam schedule for the TSTET 2025 examination on June 04, 2025. The TS TET examination were conducted from June 18 to 30, 2025. The Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET) was conducted in the CBT mode at several exam centres in 11 districts of the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.

TS TET Answer Key 2025

TS TET Answer Key 2025 (provisional) was released on July 06, 2025, for the June session. The answer key is released separately for both paper 1 and paper 2 in PDF format. Candidates can download the TS TET answer key PDF from the official website. In case of any discrepancies, candidates can raise objections against the provisional keys from July 06 to 08, 2025. After clarification of the issues, the final TS TET keys will be released.

The TS TET answer key has the right answers to the questions asked in the exam on topics like English, Telugu, Mathematics, Environmental Science, etc. The candidate can compare their answers with the answers provided in the answer key and calculate their expected score in the exam.

TS TET Exam Pattern 2025

The exam pattern is decided by the Department of School Education, Telangana, for the Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a 2-hour 30-minute long exam in which 150 MCQs will be asked. Each question will have four options, and out of these four, one will be the right answer. The candidate must attempt all questions as all are compulsory and no choice will be given. There are no negative markings, and the test is in offline mode. The candidate must colour the circle of the answer they believe to be true on the OMR sheet.

Paper 1 Pattern for Standards 1 to 5

TS TET Results 2025

The TS TET 2025 result will be announced in July 2025 (tentative). Candidates who appeared for the TS TET 2025 can download their results using their hall ticket number. The TS TET 2025 result will be released on the official website for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, by the Department of School Education, Telangana.

Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana, to ensure that teachers are qualified to teach at government or private schools. This exam is divided into two papers. Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. 

TS TET Cut Off 2025

The TS TET cut off is the marks one must obtain to qualify as a teacher and teach in any government or private school in the state of Telangana. The TS TET cut-off limit is decided by the Department of School Education of Telangana.

• TS TET score weightage is 20%, and the TRT (Teacher Recruitment Test) is 80%.
• General candidates must score more than 60% marks.
• OBC candidates must score more than 50% marks.
• The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Differently-abled must score more than 40%
• In the case of differently-abled candidates, only visual and orthopaedic disabilities shall be considered. Concerning partial hearing-impaired applicants, 75% or more disabilities shall be considered.

TS TET Application Form 2025

The TS TET application form 2025 was closed on April 30, 2025. The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State, had released two different links for registration, one for application fee payment and one for filling out the TS TET application 2025.

The candidate had to register by going to the official website. The candidate must have a valid and unique email ID and phone number. The candidate must have a scanned photo and signature with a white background in JPEG or JPG format, and the face must be shown clearly.

The candidate must also have all the necessary documents scanned to upload if required. The candidate must be careful about submitting the application form as the details cannot be changed later. After submitting, the candidate must pay an amount towards TS TET registration, after which the application form will be submitted.

How to Apply for TS TET 2025 Exam?

The mode to apply for the exam online is through the official website. The steps are as follows:

• Step 1: Students must visit the official website at tstet.cgg.gov.in.
• Step 2: Students now need to click on the ‘Online Payment’ link, where students are required to enter the required details and make a fee payment.
• Step 3: Students will get a ‘Journal Number’.
• Step 4: Students then need to click on the ‘Online Application’ link now.
• Step 5: The next step is to enter the journal number, date of payment and date of birth.
• Step 6: Students now have to fill out the TS TET application form.
• Step 7: Students need to upload their scanned photograph and click on the 'Submit' button.
• Step 8: The final step is to take a printout of the application form for future reference.

Registration Fee

The candidate must pay INR 1000 towards the TS TET registration. This holds for all candidates and is no different for the SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates.

TS TET 2025 Admit Card

TS TET 2025 admit Card was released on June 09, 2025. Candidates are supposed to download the admit card on the official website by logging in using the credentials such as registration number, email ID, phone number, and password that the candidate has decided.

TS TET admit card must be downloaded and printed out. The TET 2025 hall ticket download PDF must be carried along with the candidate to the exam hall along with a government ID proof like an Aadhaar card, Passport, or Voter's ID. If the candidate does not carry the admit card with them, they will not be allowed to write the exam.

TS TET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for TS TET have been updated according to the guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education on Mar 24, 2022. Candidates must go through these eligibility criteria before they fill out the application form. A candidate must be eligible to write the exam; otherwise, the results will not hold good even if they qualify for the exam.

The eligibility criteria are different for both papers, and a candidate must be eligible for the respective paper they choose to write. If a candidate wants to appear for both papers, they must be eligible for both separately. The prescribed criteria are given below for both papers.

Amendments Made in TS TET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates with graduated with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ BC differently-abled) and passed in Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Education (special education) have also been given eligibility. 

A person who has qualified as a Bachelor of Education from any NCTE-recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

Paper 1 for Standards 1 to 5

The eligibility criteria for attending Paper 1 of TS TET 2025 are as follows.

• Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate must also have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

• Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate must also have a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

• Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate must also have a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

OR

• Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 40% marks. The candidate must also have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. (D.El.Ed). Paper 2 for Standards 6 to 8

The applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to attend the paper 2 exams of TS TET 2025.

• Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks, and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled, the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks. The candidate must also have a degree in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course.

OR

• Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks, and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled, the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks along with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed-Special Education).

OR

• Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks, and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled, the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 40% marks. OR

• Graduation in Bachelor of Oriental Language along with Language Pandit Training Certificate/B. Ed with Language is considered one of the Methodologies, concerning Language Teachers.

OR

• Graduate in Literature along with Language Pandit Training Certificate/B. Ed with Language is considered one of the Methodologies, concerning Language Teachers.

OR

• Post Graduate in the concerned language, along with Language Pandit Training Certificate/B. Ed with Language is considered one of the Methodologies, concerning Language Teachers.

Note: Candidates who are in the final year of a Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply for the exam.

The syllabus is set by the Department of School Education, keeping in mind that the applicants must be tested on the same syllabus as that of the standards but the logical reasoning will be of higher levels so that they have a better understanding of the subject.

About TS TET

Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana, for individuals who wish to be teachers. This test was first conducted in 2017 to make sure that the teachers teaching in any school government or private, are of quality. This is a state-level exam conducted in the online mode for 2 hours and 30 minutes wherein a candidate has to solve 150 MCQ questions.
