TS TET Exam Pattern 2025
The exam pattern is decided by the Department of School Education, Telangana, for the Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a 2-hour 30-minute long exam in which 150 MCQs will be asked. Each question will have four options, and out of these four, one will be the right answer. The candidate must attempt all questions as all are compulsory and no choice will be given. The TS TET application form 2025 was closed on April 30, 2025. The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State, had released two different links for registration, one for application fee payment and one for filling out the TS TET application 2025.
The candidate had to register by going to the official website. The candidate must have a valid and unique email ID and phone number. The candidate must have a scanned photo and signature with a white background in JPEG or JPG format, and the face must be shown clearly.

TS TET Eligibility Criteria 2025
The eligibility criteria for TS TET have been updated according to the guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education on Mar 24, 2022. Candidates must go through these eligibility criteria before they fill out the application form. A candidate must be eligible to write the exam; otherwise, the results will not hold good even if they qualify for the exam.
The eligibility criteria are different for both papers, and a candidate must be eligible for the respective paper they choose to write. If a candidate wants to appear for both papers, they must be eligible for both separately. The prescribed criteria are given below for both papers.
Amendments Made in TS TET Eligibility Criteria
The candidates with graduated with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ BC differently-abled) and passed in Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Education (special education) have also been given eligibility.
A person who has qualified as a Bachelor of Education from any NCTE-recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
Paper 1 for Standards 1 to 5
The eligibility criteria for attending Paper 1 of TS TET 2025 are as follows.
- Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate must also have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

- Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks, and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled, the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks. The candidate must also have a degree in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course.
