The JIPMER PG exam pattern is announced by the official authorities responsible for organizing the JIPMER PG/INI CET exam 2023. The INI CET has replaced JIPMER PG for admissions into MD/MS/MDS courses. It is essential for candidates who plan to pursue one of the given courses to understand the JIPMER PG/INI CET exam pattern carefully. JIPMER PG/INI CET 2023 exam was conducted online. The exam was organized at the official exam centres where each candidate was allotted a separate computer system to attempt the exam. JIPMER PG 2023 Important Instructions 

After going through the JIPMER PG exam pattern, candidates should be able to structure their preparation for the exam accordingly. Apart from understanding the JIPMER PG exam pattern, candidates are advised to go through the points mentioned below to avoid mistakes and confusion at the JIPMER PG exam attempt.

  • All the applicants must keep their respective JIPMER PG admit card in possession when they visit the exam centre to attempt the JIPMER PG exam.  
  • Candidates should keep track of time as the entry at the JIPMER PG exam centre will close after the exam's commencement.
  • Applicants are advised to carefully follow the instructions given by the invigilator at the JIPMER PG exam centre. 
  • Students are advised to follow the instructions given by the invigilators in the examination room
  • During the attempt, applicants have to follow the disciplinary rules determined by the exam authorities strictly.
  • Candidates can see the time remaining for their attempt on the screen throughout the exam.
  • No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions, but the wrong answer would result in a -1 score; applicants are advised to keep this in mind if they get stuck at any question. 
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic device and study material at the exam centre.
  • The exam is organized by the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, and the final decision regarding the exam lies with the organizing authorities only.
