About CG TET
The State Government of Chhattisgarh has framed a body called Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board to conduct the Chhattisgarh Teachers Eligibility Test (CG TET). This is done to set a standard for applicants who wish to be teachers. This board creates two papers, Paper 1 is for Primary Level, Individuals who want to teach standards 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for Upper Primary, Individuals who want to teach standards 6 to 8. Candidates will be given 3 hours to answer 150 MCQ questions on the OMR Sheet.

CG TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria is a must for every applicant to go through before filing the Application form. The eligibility criteria clearly show which individuals will be allowed to appear for the exam and which individuals cannot. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board has kept in mind the quality of the teachers they would want to teach the young minds of Chhattisgarh and decided the criteria.
If these eligibility criteria are not met then the qualifying results do not hold good for the relevant individuals and they will not be allowed to teach. The prescribed criteria are as follows. The candidates must go through them thoroughly to make sure that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria of the relevant post before applying.
Paper 1 Primary Level (standard 1 to 5)
- Candidates must pass class 12 or it's equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education.
OR
- Candidates must pass class 12 or it's equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidates must have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks and must have completed Bachelors in Education.
- Candidate must pass class 12 or its equivalent and have a 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
- Candidates must pass class 12 or it's equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Paper 2 Upper Primary Level (Standard 6 to 8)
- Candidate must be a graduate with a 2-years Diploma in Education.
OR
- Candidates must have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and must have completed Bachelors in Education in Pedagogy/ 2-years Bachelors in Education.
OR
- Candidate must pass class 12 or it's equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and have a 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

CG TET 2023 Admit Card
CG TET 2023 admit card will be available on the official website. The candidate must download and print out the admit card. The admit card must be carried along with the candidate to the examination hall. If a candidate fails to carry the admit card along with them then they shall not be allowed to appear for the exam.
The admit card serves as proof that the registration form has been successfully submitted. The candidate must also carry either passport, voter id, or Aadhaar card to the examination hall. These serve as identity proof for the invigilator.

CG TET 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern gives candidates a gist of the question paper and gives them an idea as to how to prepare. It helps a candidate in the preparation when the exams are coming closer. The exam is for a time period of 3 hours in which candidates must answer questions that will be in the form of MCQs.
Candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet in which they must colour the answer they feel is right for the particular question. There will be 150 questions and the candidate must answer them all as no options are given.

CG TET 2023 Syllabus
CG TET exam syllabus is decided by the Chhattisgarh Board and if available on the official website. Candidates must go through CG TET syllabus and prepare accordingly. The syllabus can also be downloaded. The syllabus is the same as the students of the respective standards but the applicants will be tested on the depth of understanding and logical thinking of the subjects. The syllabus gives a glimpse of what could be asked in each subject and how does a candidate need to prepare.

CG TET 2023 result will be declared after the exam is conducted. CG TET 2023 result will be declared by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) or CG Vyapam on their official website.

CG TET 2023 Cut Off
Cut-off marks are qualifying marks that decide whether a candidate has cleared the exam or has failed the exam. The candidates are supposed to get marks more than CG TET cut-off marks to qualify for the counseling process round.
