AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility Highlights

Candidates should check for the eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. Only eligible candidate can apply AIIMS Nursing 2023. The following are the eligibility criteria that are needed to be fulfilled by all the candidates.

Nationality: Candidates who wish to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2023 must be a citizen of India.

Qualification: Candidates must have obtained 55% aggregate with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English in 10+2 classes irrespective of the course that has been opted for.

Age Limit: Candidate must be 17 years or older on Dec 31, 2023.

AIIMS Nursing 2023 Course-Wise Eligibility Criteria

The requirement of educational qualification is different for different courses. Candidates must have the specified qualification to satisfy the eligibility criteria. Admit card will not be issued to the candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria. Candidates should check the criteria carefully before applying AIIMS Nursing 2023. 

AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing (Hons)

General and OBC category candidates must have 50% aggregate in PCB and English in 10+2 classes and reserved category (ST/SC)students get a relaxation of 5% which is 50%. AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing Post-Basic

The applicants must have a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from any institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. They should be Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the State Nursing Council. Candidates who have passed class 11 on or before 1986 are eligible.

In the case of male nurses, they should have six months of training in either of the subjects such as, Operation Theatre Techniques (OT), Ophthalmic Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Cancer Nursing.

AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Nursing

Applicants must have a degree in B.Sc (Hons/Post-Basic/Post Certificate) Nursing. They must secure at least 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
