Candidates who acquire the required cut-off marks for AIIMS Nursing can participate in counselling. Two dates are allotted for online counselling for all 6 AIIMS, and if seats are vacant, one date is allotted for open counselling for AIIMS, New Delhi. Counselling will commence after the results.

Depending on the marks scored, the authorities will make a list of candidates for each counselling date and publish it on the official website. Apart from this, candidates will receive an email and an SMS to their registered email and phone number. There is no option for postal notification. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will be the conducting authority for the counselling.
