Fees & Scholarships : Techno India University has the course fee per year is INR 1,58,000 INR. There are no hidden expenses apart from Exam Fees( introduced very recently) which is INR 2,000 INR per semester. There are very few scholarship opportunities available to students. But the college does recognize excellence of a candidate from time to time and provides fellowship opportunities to final year students.  Education loans can be slightly difficult to procure when you are studying in a private engineering college, to be honest, but still there exist some banks which still consider it from time to time depending on the candidate. Placements & Internships : The college has provided me with a Digital Marketing(content development) internship at Bangalore for a period of 2 months. The stipend I am recieving is INR 5000. Companies that visit the campus during the placement drives include - WIPRO, COGNIZANT, IBM, Microsoft, TCS, CTS among various others. The average starting salary figures range from INR 6-INR 8 lakh INR annually. the highest salary to date is INR 11 lakh INR (cost to company) given by Microsoft. Placement percentages vary from discipline to discipline and batch to batch but approximately 60% of the students graduating from Techno India University graduate with a job in hand. The Alumni network is not too great, to be honest.

Academics & Faculty : The college usually has two sessions : Morning , Afternoon. The students are not at liberty to choose which session they want to attend. Morning session: 8:00am - 1:30 pm. Afternoon session: 1:00 - 6:00 pm. The college gives minimal projects and assignments and thereby keeping the burden on students to a minimum. 1 assignment perr module per semester is the most you can expect. The university has good faculty who bring a lot of experience to the table. The method of teaching is mostly on whiteboards. Every class has dedicated projector screens which help the teacher give practical demonstrations whenever necessary. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are countless PG facilities in the locality, so accommodation is definitely the least of your worries. The average overall cost of accommodation is not more than INR 8000 per month. There is no food in college to speak of as such. But there are sufficient food stalls just opposite to the college which will fill you up at meager costs. Cost per meal ranges from INR 30-INR 70 bucks maximum. The college does not have free wifi for all.  The quality of classrooms, labs, and libraries are commendable. They are well maintained and are tidy at all times.

Clubs & Associations : The college has a dedicated club - Technopreneurs which is a forum where you can come forward with your own business ideas which are heard by top officials of the college and if you can win them over, the University provides you an initial funding which brings forward entrepreneurs every now and then from the college. The University also has various dedicated university academic programmes (For instance: PEGA) and other value added courses(SAP) which has enriched my skill set significantly. The college also has a mandatory module called CASD(Career Advancement and Skill Developement) every semester which addresses the various soft skills and other merits required to crack interviews and ace Group Discussions.   Life in college is very chill and not in any way taxing or tedious.
