NIFT 2025 exam day guidelines can save you time and make your D-day hassle-free. NIFT 2025 is around the corner, scheduled on 9th February 2025, and students need to know what they must do on the day of the exam. On the day of the exam, candidates must battle in the exam hall and not outside it. 

This means arriving well-prepared is essential to ensure a smooth experience. NIFT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines - Essential Documents to Carry for the NIFT 2025 Exam

When you are entering the exam hall Candidates must know what necessary documents they need to carry in the examination hall. Here is the list of documents that candidates must carry while appearing for NIFT 2025.

• Carry the NIFT Admit card with self-declaration (undertaking) attached and downloaded from the official website of NIFT.
• Don't forget to bring government-issued identity proof with a photograph such as an Aadhar card, PAN card or voter ID. The ID proof must be original and valid. Photocopies or expired identity proof will not be acceptable. 
• Carry your own Black or Blue/Black pen/ pencil and colouring stationary (for CAT) in a transparent pouch.
• Candidates claiming relaxation under PwD must bring their PwD certificates issued by a government authority (medical officer).

Knowing what not to bring can save you time at the exam centre. Candidates must refrain from possessing these things at the exam centre to avoid any last-minute hassles. Any candidate found with the barred items will be punished and may be debarred from further attempts.

• Electronic Gadgets/Devices (including cameras, pagers, tape recorders, and microphones)
• Smart Watches or Electronic Watches with Calculators
• Calculators and Log Tables
• Slide Rules
• Earphones and Headphones
• Loose or Packed Food Items (unless diabetic)
• Handbags, Purses, and Wallets
• Any Metallic Items
• Instruments of Any Kind
• Printed or Written Textual Materials
• Paper (Blank or Written)

NIFT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines - Do’s and Don’ts

Candidates must know what to do and what to avoid on the exam day for a smooth experience and ace the toughest design entrance exam in India. 

• Arrive at the centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. It gives ample time for locating your seat and security checks.  
• Go through your admit card thoroughly and read every instruction carefully and follow it.
• Don’t carry an admit card which is blurry or doesn't have discrepancies, it will not be considered at the exam centre for entry. 
• Carry your pen/pencil or stationery item for (CAT paper), sharing will not be allowed inside the exam hall. 
• Don’t possess any electronic items, check the above-mentioned items and leave them outside the exam hall before entering. 
• Bring your transparent water bottle, it saves time as some centres may not have adequate facilities. 
• Wear comfortable clothing to stay focused during the exam. Avoid accessories that might delay security checks, such as jewellery or items containing metal. 
• Follow all exam instructions, including seating arrangements and exam protocols. Disqualification may result from non-compliance.

• Revise Key Concepts

  Go through the important topics based on your last year's paper analysis, and write it down for fast recalling. This last-minute revision saves the day. 

• Pack All Essentials Items

  Organize all your important documents, stationery and other items the night before the exam to avoid last-minute hassle. Make a checklist so nothing important goes missing. 

• Get a Good Night's Sleep

  Sleep properly and timely the night before the exam. It helps to stay alert and focused during the exam. 

• Practice Mindfulness

  Before starting to attempt the paper, try taking long and deep breaths to release any undue stress and achieve focus and the highest level of concentration. Chant your favourite mantra or recite a quote in the mind to boost your mind.
