When you are entering the exam hall Candidates must know what necessary documents they need to carry in the examination hall. Here is the list of documents that candidates must carry while appearing for NIFT 2025.
- Carry the NIFT Admit card with self-declaration (undertaking) attached and downloaded from the official website of NIFT.
- Don't forget to bring government-issued identity proof with a photograph such as an Aadhar card, PAN card or voter ID. The ID proof must be original and valid. Photocopies or expired identity proof will not be acceptable.
- Carry your own Black or Blue/Black pen/ pencil and colouring stationary (for CAT) in a transparent pouch.
- Candidates claiming relaxation under PwD must bring their PwD certificates issued by a government authority (medical officer).

NIFT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines - Do’s and Don’ts
Candidates must know what to do and what to avoid on the exam day for a smooth experience and ace the toughest design entrance exam in India.
- Arrive at the centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. It gives ample time for locating your seat and security checks.
- Go through your admit card thoroughly and read every instruction carefully and follow it.
- Don’t carry an admit card which is blurry or doesn't have discrepancies, it will not be considered at the exam centre for entry.
- Carry your pen/pencil or stationery item for (CAT paper), sharing will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
- Don’t possess any electronic items, check the above-mentioned items and leave them outside the exam hall before entering.
- Bring your transparent water bottle, it saves time as some centres may not have adequate facilities.
