ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The classes start at 9:15 am till 4:30 in the evening. The faculty is very nice and the routine is generally strenuous during exams and project submission.Tye overall experience is nice obviously but it gets tiresome at some point time but now we\'re used to it so it\'s kind of okay for us.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • Classes happen on daily basis and there is a strict line on 75% attendance. The student has to maintain 75% percent attendance in all subjects. There are projectors installed in each and every classroom for easier teaching and better explanation. One will find all types of faculties in the college, there are some who are very friendly and there are some who are really strict, it is just your luck who yours happen to be.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:
  • Life in college, in general, is really nice, just there are many many classes. we have a 3-day youth fest. And each and every festival is celebrated for hostlers on campus. Clubs are formed for every activity.

26 Sep 2016 Rating :
ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The daily routine is from 9:15 am to 5pm in the evening. The class timings are mostly 50 minute sessions with a 5 minute break between periods. The teachers are good and responsive to students with good use of technology in the teaching methods. The labs are well maintained and softwares are easily avaialble from the lab assistants whenever the student needs them. Mostly the layout of the classses is such that the teacher is able to communicate with all students very well.
  • Assignments and projects are given regulary to the students and expected to be returned in time. The grading is fair and the teachers are available to answer doubts in the cabins. Exams are held at the end of every semester with a strict notion against cheating. However, the students are generally good enough to have not to use any misconduct.
  • My overall experience in my college was a decent one. Had I been interested in engineering, it would probably been an even better one.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:
  • There are many student societies and clubs on campus which recruit very heavily all throughout the year. From Inertia, the famous dance society to Alfaas, the dramatic society, Amity University has a growing bunch of associations where students can participate. Technical societies like eDC, ACE club and EMC are the place to be for all future IT gurus and budding entrepreneurs.
  • The main two festivals on campus are the Amity Youty Fest, the 3 day gala event with all sorts of competetions and cultural events ending with a live concert, held mainy in February and the Sangathan event, which is a sports meeting from August-October. While there are a lot of other festivals in the university, these two are the biggest and most heavily participated. Students are able to obtain medals and certificates in both events and these go a long way in aiding their profiles in terms of extra curricular activites.
  • College life in general is pretty chill for students. There is general hectic nature to the engineering batches, sure, but it mellows down as you get into your third and fourth years. the teachers are respectful and chill as well and let the students be.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:

Academics are the primary concern of the college. Very experienced teachers and professers are included as the faculty. They teach really well. Excellent teachers. Projects and assignments are given on a regular basis as the syllabus goes by. 1 minor exams and 1 major exams take place for every semester. But for the 1st year, the number of sibjects are 11 and some irrelevant subjects are also taught for the sake of general knowledge like biology, history, law etc. The timings are 9:15 am to 2:40 pm. Twice a week, its till 5:30 pm.

B.Tech (Computer), batch of 2018
18 Jul 2016 Rating :
ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • Amity has a very comfortable and strict schedule of daily class. Professors try their best to make concepts clear. The Practical sessions are given a greater emphasis. Ranging from numerous core couses to electives, it also comprised of projects, term papers, and industrial exposure. Classes were held from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm from Monday to Friday. Regular evaluations in the form of assignments, tutorials and examinatons took place.
  • Quality and methodology of teaching was pretty detailed consisting of both theoretical and practical components. Faculty was very learned and few had industrial exposure as well.
