MHT CET 2024 Exam Pattern

According to the MHT CET 2024 exam pattern, the question paper will be weighted 20% for class 11 and 80% for class 12 topics. The exam will be administered online as a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions (MCQ). There will be three question papers.

The first paper will be Mathematics; the second will be Physics and Chemistry combined; and the third will be Biology. Candidates interested in pursuing an engineering degree should take Papers 1 and 2. Aspiring pharmacy students should take Papers 2 and 3.

1. Paper 1 - Mathematics

• A total of 50 questions. 
• A total of ten questions from the class 11 syllabus and forty from the class 12 syllabus. 
• Each question will be worth two marks. 
• The paper will last 90 minutes. 

2. Paper 2 - Physics and Chemistry

• Total of 100 questions. 
• The physics section will feature 50 questions, with the remaining 50 from Chemistry. 
• Out of 50 questions in each topic, 10 will be from the class 11 syllabus, with the remaining 40 from the class 12 syllabus. 
• The paper will last 90 minutes. 

3. Paper 3 - Biology

• Total of 100 questions.
