IGDTUW Admission 2026
IGDTUW admission 2026 will start with the JEE Main and GATE examinations; the admission process is merit-based, prioritising women candidates. The flagship course, BTech admission, is based on JEE Main scores, and MTech is based on GATE and CUET-PG, followed by JAC Delhi counselling. IGDTUW admission is an online process starting with registration for the qualifying entrance exam.
Online Registration:
For BTech and BArch courses, register via www.josaa.nic.in after securing the qualifying scores of the JEE Main or NATA exam. For MTech, MBA, MCA, BBA, and PhD, visit the official IGDTUW website, www.igdtuw.ac.in, and register with email and mobile number.
Fill the Application Form:
Complete the IGDTUW application form 2026 with personal details, academic qualifications, and course preferences. Upload required documents, including mark sheets and passport-size photos.
Pay the Application Fee:
Complete the application by paying the application fee. The fee for BTech/BArch is INR 1,500 (via JoSAA). For MTech, MBA, MCA, BBA, and PhD, the fee is INR 1,000 (via IGDTUW portal). Pay the required amount via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Appear for the Entrance Exam (if applicable):
IGDTUW accepts JEE Main for BTech, NATA/JEE Main Paper 2 for BArch, GATE/CET for MTech, CAT/CMAT/CET for MBA, NIMCET/CET for MCA, CET for BBA, and RAT/CET for PhD. Candidates must register and appear for the respective exams.
Participate in the Counselling Process:
For BTech and BArch admission, register for JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. MTech, MCA, BBA admssion is done through IGDTUW counselling based on GATE/NIMCET/CET scores. For MBA and PhD admission, shortlisted candidates are notified via email for GD/PI or a written test/interview based on entrance scores or academic performance.
Final Selection:
For IGDTUW BTech and BArch admission, JoSAA releases cutoffs in multiple rounds; MTech, MCA, and BBA admission is done through IGDTUW counselling. MBA selection is based on CAT/CMAT/CET scores, GD, and PI performance. IGDTUW releases a final list based on RAT/CET, interview, and academic records for PhD admission.
Admission Confirmation & Fee Payment:
Selected candidates have to confirm their seat by paying the admission fee within the deadline to secure the seat. The candidates must download the admission letter and report to the campus as required.
