Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship is available to students who want to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in any healthcare or medical science courses. The eligibility criteria for the Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship 2023 are as follows:
- The candidates pursuing bachelor's programmes should have completed their first-year degree.
- The candidates in the first year of master's degree can also apply for the Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship.
- They should have obtained the required cut-off percentage or CGPA in their stream.
- They should be studying in an institution recognised by the government.

Tata Trust Medical and Healthcare Scholarship Benefits
The candidates receiving stipends or availing benefits from any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for the Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship. The aim is to provide financial support to the meritorious students aspiring to pursue a medical and healthcare science degree. The Tata trust partially covers the tuition fees and other academic fees of the selected candidates.
How to Apply for Tata Trust Medical and Healthcare Scholarship?
The application process has two parts. The first part includes filling and submitting the form online, and the second part is sending the required documents by email. The candidates should provide the correct details while filling the form.
Online Application
The Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship application form consists of six pages, and they are:

Steps to Apply Online
The applicants should click on 'next' after filling in the details on each page. The stepwise application process are as follows:
Step 1 - The candidates should click on the link to fill the application form.
Step 2 - They should read the instructions provided and fill the details correctly.
Step 3 - The candidates should enter all the mandatory fields and click on 'next' after completing each page.
Step 4 - Click on 'submit' to complete the application form.
Tata Trust Medical and Healthcare Scholarship - Instructions
Listed below are a few points the candidates should keep in mind while applying for the Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship 2023:
- The scholarship team will use the email ID mentioned in the form for all correspondences. Hence, the candidates should provide a valid email ID.
- The candidates should select streams relevant to their area of studies.
- The candidates should not submit their applications more than once.
- The applicants should fill the mandatory questions and should not leave any fields blank in the application form.
- The candidates cannot modify any information after submitting the form. Hence, they should double-check the details before submitting it.
Email Submission
After submitting the application form, the candidates should email all the required documents to igpadmin@tatatrust.org. Given below is a list of points to follow while sending the documents:
- The candidates should mention "stream name-student name" in the email's subject line.
- They should mail the mandatory documents within 24 hours of submitting the application forms.
- The documents should be in PDF format and should be named appropriately. E.g., studentname-marksheetsem1.pdf, studentname-bankcheque.pdf, etc.
- The team will not accept the applications if the candidates send multiple emails for one application.
Tata Trust Medical and Healthcare Scholarship Mandatory Documents
The candidates should get their documents ready and send it in the prescribed format by email. The team will treat the applications as void if the candidates' records are unclear, illegible, or manipulated, and the documents sent after the due date will not be accepted. The list of the mandatory documents are:
- Mark sheets: The copies of mark sheets that are attested and relevant to the academic year. If the candidates do not have their mark sheets, they can submit a letter from the college mentioning the last date of announcing the results as per Annexure A. However, the applicants should submit the marksheet on or before the date mentioned in the college letter.
- Fee receipts: If the candidates have not paid the fees or paid only partial fees, then they should submit a college letter as per Annexure B.
- Cancelled cheque: The first page of the bank passbook (relating to the applicants) or their parent's bank account details.
Note: Tata trust will not be responsible if the candidates do not receive the Tata trust medical and healthcare scholarship amount due to incorrect bank details.
- The latest annual income proof of the parents or guardians
In addition to these documents, the students pursuing masters [MD, MS, MCH, DM, MDS, MPT, 2nd and 3rd-year homoeopathy students] should submit the following documents:
- Resume
- Statement of purpose
- Monthly stipend amount. The candidate should get this information on the college letterhead as per Annexure C.
