Xiaomi India offers Mi scholarship to the students in class XI and XII. The candidates should be Indian citizens to apply for the scholarship. The Xiaomi India company had launched the Mi scholarship as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. 

Eligibility Criteria for Mi Scholarship - Class XI and XII

The students of class XI and XII can apply for the Mi scholarship 2023. The eligibility criteria are as follows.

• Students should either be studying in class XI or class XII
• They must have secured a minimum of 70% marks in their class X examination
• Family income should not exceed INR 1,50,000 per annum.

The Mi scholarship aims to uplift underprivileged students. Over 5,000 students from all over India will benefit from this scholarship. The Mi scholarship is worth INR 2 crore, and the eligible students selected for the scholarship will receive INR 3,800 to pursue higher studies.

Xiaomi India offers scholarship opportunities to students pursuing an undergraduate degree as well. The goal is to provide financial assistance to deserving students from weaker sections of the society studying at the undergraduate level. 

Eligibility Criteria for Mi Scholarship - Undergraduate Students

The students who want to apply for the Mi scholarship 2023 should meet the following criteria:

• The candidates should be citizens of India.
• The applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate degree such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA etc.
• They should have secured a minimum score of 70% in their class XII board examination. 
• The annual family income should not be more than INR 1,50,000 from all sources.

Intending to create interest in education among the young students, Xiaomi India launched the Mi scholarship for students pursuing undergraduate courses. The scholarship aims to reduce dropouts of the students due to financial constraints. The selected candidates will receive INR 5,800 for their higher studies.

Mi Scholarship Registration Process

The candidates must register themselves before applying for the scholarship. The registration steps are as follows:

Step 1 -The candidates should visit the Mi scholarship application website by clicking here.

Step 2 - They should click on 'apply now'.

Step 3 - The first-time applicants should click on 'register'.

Step 4 - They should fill in the registration form and click on 'register'.

Step 5 - The candidates should verify the email ID by clicking on the mail sent to their registered email ID.

Step 6 - They should also verify the mobile number by entering the OTP and click on 'Verify OTP'.

Mi Scholarship Application Process

After registration, the candidates can apply for the Mi scholarship by either linking their Facebook and Gmail accounts or providing their registered email, mobile number and password. The application procedure are as follows:

Step 1 - After registering, the candidates should click on 'apply now'.

Step 2 - They should enter the password and click on 'start application'.

Step 3 - The candidates should fill in the application form.

Step 4 - Next, they should read and agree to the terms by checking the box at the bottom of the page.

Step 5 - The candidates should click on preview and thoroughly check the details on the application form.

Step 6 - They can make the final submission after verifying the details on the application form.

Important Documents for Mi Scholarship

The candidates should upload the correct documents while applying for the scholarship. The documents to be submitted are as follows:

• Aadhaar card 
• Passport size photographs
• Income certificate from the competent authority
• Admission proof (school, college or university ID)
• Current year's fee receipt
• Details of the bank (such as cancelled cheque or a copy of the passbook)
• Class X marks sheet (for class XI and class XII scholarship)
• Class XII marks sheet (for undergraduate scholarship)

The Mi scholarship's selection process consists of two stages. 

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic merit and financial condition
• Candidates will be selected based on the telephonic interview in the final round
