IET India scholarship awards, presented by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), encourage students by providing them with scholarships. It will nurture the future of young engineering leaders. This will be the 5th edition hosted by the organisation, bringing up their creativity, innovation, control, and brilliance. The students pursuing their undergraduate engineering degree can avail themselves of scholarships up to INR 5,00,000.
This institution has closely worked with Industries, academics, the government, and engineers for a better future. Renowned Engineers like Shri Ratan Tata(Former Chairman, Tata Sons), N R Narayan Murthy (Chairman Emeritus, Infosys), and TV Ramachandran (President, Broadband India Forum and Ex-President Director, Vodafone) are fellow mates of the IET. The final submission date for the scholarships was June 3, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for IET India Scholarship Awards
The applicant should ensure that the requirements are fulfilled. The Eligibility Criteria to apply for IET India scholarship award are as follows:
- Open for the undergraduate students studying in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of engineering.
- They must be approved by the UGC/AICTE.
- All the subjects of the particular courses must be cleared by the applicant in a single attempt.
- They must have scored at least 60% in aggregate or identical CGPA of at least 6.5 on a scale of 10 pointers in the semester.
- The Applicant must have scored more than 60% marks or identical grade in class 12th.
- All the members of IET and the non-members of IET can participate in this scholarship.
IET India Scholarship Rewards
The organisation is rewarding INR 5,00,000 as the scholarship money to the students having great innovative ideas. However, the scholarship money will be awarded to both the National and Regional Levels. The selected applicants will acquire the scholarship awards as mentioned below:
For Regional round of Selection
There will be at least 4 rounds for regional selection. The winners will be awarded the scholarship money along with the certificate.

All the winners of the regional round will be competing for the Nationals round and the scholarship awards are as follows:

If the freshman/woman is winning in both the regions, then they will be awarded both the certificates (i.e Regional/National) and the prize money of National Level only.
How to Apply for IET India Scholarship Awards?
The applicants can apply online for the IET India scholarship award program. However, the candidates who are applying for the first time should register themselves before starting the application process. The stepwise process to apply for the scholarship are as follows:
Step 1: The candidate must visit the official buddy4study website.
Step 2: Click on the ‘apply now’ button given below on the page.
Step 3: Log in to Buddy4study with your registered ID for filling out the online application. If not registered, then register yourself on Buddy4study with your email/ cell/ facebook/ gmail account.
Step 4: Now, the student will be diverted to the official page of the IET India scholarship award.
Step 5: Click on the ‘register now’ button to start the process.
Step 6: Fill in all the required details in the registration form and submit it.
Step 7: Once registered, then log onto the form with your registered email and password.
Step 8: Start filling in your details, academic performances, professional and co-curricular activities in the form.
Step 9: Get a preview of all the information filled in and submit the form.
Documents Required for IET India Scholarship Awards
None of the documents are required to be attached at the time of the application process of the scholarship. The application form will be enough to participate in the competition.
Selection Process
The selection process of the IET India scholarship award is multi-stepped. It will be done at 4 levels and the levels are given below:
Level 1: Online application has to be filled. The inceptive shortlisting will be done based on the application form. The weightage section is as follows:
Academics- 60%
Extra and Co-curricular- 20%
Outreach- 10%
Professional- 10%
Level 2: After qualifying the application process the candidates have to give the online test. The test contains 50 multiple choice questions of some of the combined subjects.
Level 3: Regional level assessment is the third level of the process. After the selection in the second level, the candidates have to give a presentation in front of the jury on the allotted topic.
Level 4: This is the last stage of the process. The winners of the regional level have to give the presentation based on their thoughts along with the solutions. GD round will also be conducted in the fourth stage where a certain topic has to be presented before the jury on the final day.
