The GEV memorial merit scholarship for law students aims to offer financial support to deserving students pursuing a law degree. It also provides them with an opportunity to study at elite institutes. The GEV memorial merit scholarship is committed to creating a robust community of law students, and the last date to apply is March 7th, 2021However, the students who are attending the entrance exam after May 31st, 2021, can apply for the scholarship till July 31st, 2021.

The GEV scholarship fund trust provides the GEV memorial merit scholarship 2021 for law students. The trustees started the fund in memory of Late Dr Goolam E. Vahanvati, the 13th attorney general of India.

The candidates who are Indian citizens pursuing law degrees can apply for the GEV memorial merit scholarship 2021 for law students. Those pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are eligible to apply. The other requirements are as follows:

  • The family income should not exceed INR 10,00,000 per annum.

    • Note: They will get a chance to assist and nurture GEV scholars' next batch through the mentorship programme.

GEV Memorial Merit Scholarship Rewards for Law Students

The GEV memorial merit scholarship for law students covers the educational expenses of the selected students. The other rewards are: 

  • The GEV memorial merit scholarship for law students will help the scholars pursue their legal education at the most elite institutes in India. 
  • The GEV memorial merit scholarship 2021 for law students offers an amount between INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000 per annum. 
  • The providers will pay the subsequent scholarship instalments based on the candidates' performance. 
  • The scholars will attend events organised under the mentorship programme
