Emmanuel Micaiah Afriyie's Review on Lovely Professional University- LPU Jalandhar

Just got employed as an intern at GetMyUni with a stipend of 7000(in rupees).

Most of the fortune 500 companies give placements and also internship programs to LPU students eg. BOSCH, Google, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Tata, Hewlett Packard, Tommy Hilfiger, Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, Cognizant etc.

8 to 9 Lahks per annum are what most LPU students get on placements. About 75% get placed

Very connected network which works hand in hand but mainly for the national citizens and not internationals which feels left out  

About 17 hostels for both boys and girls, don't know much about the hostels fees since i live outside campus.

Quiet affordable but goes lots of procedures for a foreigner

It depends on the store or the place one would choose to buy from, but all the stalls are in good condition. And a meal starts from 60/- and above 

The Classrooms are neat and properly maintain, a well-ventilated area with the wifi's on all campuses

The eligibility criteria for my course was based on the 70% outcome or total percentage for my 10+2 certificate, which makes one eligible for its 50% tuition scholarship. Didn't take any entrance exams as an International student, but passes in science, English and mathematics qualifies the applicant to study the course and also get the 50% off tuition fee scholarship

To obtain a First Class at the end of the degree, one needs to score 7.5cgpa to meet such criteria. And to get your degree certificate, one need to score 5.5cgpa above before one can be granted permission to graduate. 

LPU classes require a lot from the students average students goes to classes from 9 am to 4 pm. Examinations in LPU goes with the strict format, forfeit a rule and you the disciplinary committee, whiles assignment are content for the students.

Will give its quality average and the method very good

Its very brilliant, but lots of improvement are needed to be done if they really want to meet the international marks(some rules and lifestyle are needed to rectified and omitted)
