Science Olympiad Foundation 2024

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) had scheduled the Olympiads from Sep 21, 2024, to Jan 18, 2024. It is an educational organization that conducts academic competitions. The organization aims to assist in the development of competitive spirit among school students. Moreover, it is a registered organization that has been promoting the development of competitive spirit among school children.

The SOF 2024 exams are held on two levels for classes 1 to 12. Subsequently, the level 1 SOF exams are conducted at schools for classes 1 to 12. In addition, a level 2 exam is conducted for students studying in classes 3 to 12. Note that the Olympiad was firmly established by foremost scholars, scientists, and media persons to promote professional courses.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Exam List

SOF Olympiad Exams 2024 are conducted nationally and internationally under different streams and fields. The SOF Olympiad 2024 has several reputed volunteer partners like the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and many highly reputed organisations like The British Council, Star Sports, Techfest IIT Bombay-Innovative challenge, IIT Kharagpur, TCS and more.

• National Science Olympiad (NSO)

NSO is an academic and scholarship aptitude test that encompasses various disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.

• National Cyber Olympiad (NCO)

NCO, the National Cyber Olympiad, identifies the cyber-savvy talents amongst the younger generation. Science Olympiad Foundation conducts the National Cyber Olympiad for students who are academically excellent in computer science subjects.

• International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)

The Mathematics Olympiad conducted by SOF identifies and encourages the mathematical creativity of students.

• International English Olympiad (IEO)

IEO is organized and carried out in partnership with the British Council, a global search for young minds who dream of mastering English.

• International Commerce Olympiad (ICO)

ICO will be conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India to help young students determine their interests in the company secretaries profession and plan their careers accordingly.

• International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)

IGKO endeavours to develop an interest in general knowledge and current affairs to excel academically.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Exam Dates

The foundation uses advanced methods and technologies in the knowledge acquisition process by regularly conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments at the national/international level to build up the scientific and IT talent pool.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Eligibility Criteria

SOF 2024 officials conduct six Olympiads under different subjects: science, mathematics, computer education, language, general knowledge, and other professional courses. For the students to be eligible for the Olympiads, they must be studying in any of the recognized education boards in India.

SOF Olympiad Eligibility details are as follows,

• Students from classes 1 to 12 are eligible to participate.
• Students must be studying in any recognized education board such as CBSE, ICSE, state board and more.
• There is no minimum marks requirement to apply for the SOF 2024 exam.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Awards

The SOF 2024 exam awards students with cash prizes, gifts, and cash prizes for the winners of NCO, NSO, IEO, IMO, and IGKO exams. SOF awards are offered to national, zonal, and class toppers (including all sections). Besides, the top three rank holders will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Scholarship

SOF Olympiad 2024 offers scholarships under a special scheme for different categories of students. The winners who are eligible for the scholarships will be provided with an annual stipend. Further, each school can recommend one eligible student for the scholarship. Furthermore, the scholarship will be evaluated only if the SOF 2024 application form has a recommendation letter with the headmaster or principal's signature.

SOF Olympiad 2024 Features

Winners of Science Olympiad Foundation Exams are awarded scholarships, medals, cash prizes, and certificates based on their performance. For all SOF exams, a minimum of 5 students must participate from the registered schools.

• There is no school SOF 2024 registration fee.
• The school will become an exam centre for the SOF 2024 exam.
• The students taking part in the SOF 2024 exams have to pay the registration fees.
