The full form of NMMS for National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship; started in the year 2008. The basic idea behind this scholarship program was that no student should drop their education after they complete their education till class 8. The scholarship is only for government school children who are likely to be held in January 2024. NMMS Rajasthan Important Dates

The benefits of the scheme are given to those students whose parental income is below 1,50,000 from all the sources. The selection of the students is made through an online exam which is conducted by every state. The students studying in “Kendriya Vidalayas and “Jawahar Vavodaya Vidlayas” are not entitled to avail of the benefits under this scheme. The government runs this scheme so that finance shall not become a hindrance to the education of the candidate.

NMMS Rajasthan Registration Form

The candidates who are aspiring to take this scholarship exam must follow the below-mentioned steps to fill up the registration form-

Step 1: Go to the official website of NMMS Rajasthan.

Step 2: A menu box will appear on the left-hand side. In that menu, click on the NMMS option.

Step 3: A new page will open and then click on the “NMMS Application” option.

Step 4: Download the form and fill in the necessary details.

Step 5: Post the form to the school coordinator along with the required documents.

• Caste certificate
• Income certificate of parents (compulsory)
• Disability certificate

NMMS Rajasthan Admit Card

The NMMS Exam is conducted by the central government to provide grants to deserving students, so that finance never becomes a hurdle as they pursue their education. Though the central government is conducting the exam, the state government will be deciding authority for the selection of candidates for NMMS scholarships. The state government issues results, as well as, NMMS admit cards of the candidates.
