CREST Reasoning Olympiad 2024

CREST Olympiads is one of the leading online Olympiad organizations in the country. The objective of this initiative is to evaluate students' knowledge and help them apply their learning to different fields and develop their analytical skills to be confident enough to face any competitive examination. CRO is one of the best forums for learning and improving the thinking and reasoning skills of students. The Olympiad helps students to determine their strengths and weaknesses based on their performances on a national level.

The CREST Reasoning Olympiad (CRO) is an international competitive examination held online for students in classes 1-10. The test is an objective test that students need to complete in 60 minutes. The examination medium shall be English. Crest Olympiad follows the same pattern as CBSE, ICSE / ISC, and any other recognized Indian Board. The Exam consists of two parts: the rational reasoning section and the achiever's section.

CRO 2023-24 Exam Pattern

Exam pattern highlights for the CRO exam are given below.

CRO 2023-24 Registration 

Class 1-10 students are eligible to compete at CRO. Students may enrol either through the school or on their own. All schools registered at the CREST Olympiad will receive a prospectus containing registration forms for the school registration. Interested students can register with the coordinator of their school. Students can also register as individual participants. Students may apply for individual registration on the official CREST Olympiads website.

CRO 2023-24 Registration Fees

For students studying and enrolling in India, the examination fee for each subject is Rs. 225. The fee for students who study and stay outside India is $10 (US Dollars).

CRO 2023-24 Syllabus

CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and other state board syllabus are followed for Crest Olympiad test papers. The difficulty level varies as per the classes. For primary grades, the syllabus has topics such as analogy, coding, and decoding, geometrical shapes, embedded figures, odd one out, etc. For higher grades, the syllabus includes topics such as alphabet tests and logic, mathematical operations, inserting the missing characters, analytical reasoning, etc.

CRO 2023-24 Awards & Recognition

Students who take an exam will receive a certificate of merit and a badge. The awards and recognition presented are presented below:

• The top 15 percent of students will receive a certificate of merit.
• A medal and a certificate of distinction will be presented to the top 5 percent of students.
• A Certificate of Merit will be awarded to the top 3 students (registered through school) from every school with more than 25 students in the Olympiad class to be awarded a Certificate of Merit.
• Top 3 students in classes 1-10 will receive Achievers Trophy and Merit certificate.
• A digital participation certificate will be awarded to each participant. This will be included in the participant's Dashboard.
• If a student meets 2 conditions or more, he/she will qualify for a higher award.
