Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE) is an international-level talent search examination for Indian school students. ISTSE is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment test to get the strengths and weaknesses of individual students across India.

ISTSE is designed to assess the overall intellectual potential of the students from classes 1 to 10. It uses conceptual, multiple-choice questions to measure how well the student has understood the school syllabus's skills and concepts.

ISTSE 2024 Exam Details

The ISTSE exam is conducted separately for students who applied online, i.e., individually, and for those who applied through respected schools.

Online test: Any student (from class 1-10) can participate in ISTSE by registering their name online. Students can participate in ISTSE Olympiad from the comfort of their homes. For attending the exam, the student should need a laptop or desktop with a webcam and live internet connection to take this Olympiad.

Paper-based only through schools: Register through the respective schools. ISTSE registration forms will be sent to the respective schools.

ISTSE 2024 Online Exam Details

The ISTSE Olympiad is an advanced test that challenges students to apply their learning and thinking by answering stimulating questions, which are not usually asked in standard tests. ISTSE is committed to the fair conduct of the talent search examination. ISTSE organization is the first and only online talent exam for school kids with anti-cheating tools to prevent any malpractice during the exam. Their exam system is equipped with an advanced AI-based anti-cheating module, advanced software tools, and manual monitoring to support the examination's fair conduction.

• ISTSE online exam is open to all students of classes 1 to 10. Students have to register themselves online at ISTSE.
• Students have to appear for the exam from their home.
• Students should have access to a laptop/desktop with a webcam and internet connection to appear in this ISTSE Olympiad.
• 16% of marks are reserved for fair participation in the Olympiad for students. The "Fair Play/Practice" scores will be calculated with an AI-enabled tool and manual monitoring of the participants during the Olympiad Exam.
• Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE) online exam is a single-question papers exam that will contain questions from Mental & Logical Ability, Mathematics, Science, and English.

Note: Each registered participant will get three free online mock test papers for practice. Sample mock tests can be opened using a smartphone, tabs, or computer. But for the final ISTSE exam, participants should have a desktop/laptop with a webcam and live internet connection.

The ISTSE paper-based Olympiad is an advanced test that challenges students to apply their learning and thinking ability by answering stimulating questions, not usually asked in any standard tests. It's a paper-based exam open to all classes 1 to 10 students studying in participating schools. The registration for the pen-paper exam is school registration.

• The paper-based ISTSE Olympiad is conducted through school. Students have to fill out the registration form in the school, submit it to the respected teacher, and conduct the exam inside-school campus during school hours.

• The paper-based Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE) is a single paper exam of eighty-four (84) marks. Question papers will contain questions from subjects like Mental & Logical Ability, Mathematics, Science, and English.
• If two or more students get the same rank, an interview will be conducted to decide the award.
