SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for B.Ed

The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the B.Ed course are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for B.Ed

  • Students applying for the B.Ed program under the SCERT Odisha exam must have completed their UG or PG with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • All candidates applying for the SCERT Odisha 2023 B.Ed program must have passed at least 2 subjects with 200 marks each.
  • Candidates having a degree in B.E/B. Tech should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (for general candidates) and 50% marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/SEBC/PH category. 
  • All students from an engineering background applying for the SCERT Odisha exam will be considered under the PCM category. 

Age Limit Requirements for B.Ed

SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for B.Ed (Hindi)

The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the B.Ed (Hindi) course are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for B.Ed (Hindi)

  • Candidates that have an undergraduate degree in BA/B.Com/B.Sc with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category) and 45% marks (SC/ST/SEBC/PH category) are to be eligible for the SCERT exam 2023. 
  • The candidates having a degree in BA/B.Com/B.Sc must have Hindi as one of their subjects in their UG course.
  • Candidates should have met this criterion in addition to all the conditions mentioned above to be eligible for B.Ed (Hindi).
    1. They must have passed Odia as a medium of language in their 12th or Higher Secondary School level exams if they wish to apply for B.Ed (Hindi).
    2. They must have passed a single-subject exam in Odia conducted by BSE, Odisha, if they wish to apply for B.Ed (Hindi).
    3. They must have passed a Higher Secondary School exam in Odia with a modern Indian language (except Odia) conducted by BSE, Odisha if they wish to apply for B.Ed (Hindi).

Age Limit Requirements for B.Ed (Hindi)

The age limit criteria for B.Ed (Hindi) is the same as the B.Ed as per the SCERT eligibility criteria 2023.

SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for M.Ed

The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the M.Ed course are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for M.Ed

  • Students applying for the M.Ed program under the SCERT Odisha exam must have completed their Bachelor in Education degree with a minimum of 50% marks.

OR

  • Candidates having a BA degree are eligible to apply for the SCERT Odisha exam 2023 if they have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

OR

  • Candidates that have an undergraduate degree in arts or science must also possess a diploma degree in elementary education with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category) and 45% marks (SC/ST/SEBC/PH category) to be eligible for the SCERT exam 2023. 

OR

  • Candidates should have met this criterion in addition to all the conditions mentioned above.
    1. They must have passed Odia as a medium of language in their 12th or Higher Secondary School level exams.
    2. They must have passed a single-subject exam in Odia conducted by BSE, Odisha.
    3. They must have passed a Higher Secondary School exam in Odia with a modern Indian language (except Odia) conducted by BSE, Odisha.

Age Limit Requirements for M.Ed

There are no age limit conditions for the M.Ed programs as per the SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023.

SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for B.P.Ed.

B.P.Ed stands for Bachelor in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.). The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the B.P.Ed course are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for B.P.Ed

  • Students must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline. In addition, an individual must have participated in college/zonal/ district/ school competitions in sports and games recognized by IOA/AIU/ SGFI/ Government of India.

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a minimum of 45% marks to be eligible for B.P.Ed. In addition, they must have studied Physical Education as a compulsory/elective subject. 
  • Candidates must have graduated with a 45% grade point average and have at least 3 years of teaching experience in any field.

OR

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 45%. As well as participating in National/ Intercollegiate/ Inter-Zonal/ School competitions in sports, candidates must have also won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in these competitions, and these competitions must be recognized by AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Government of India.
  • In addition, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 45% marks in any discipline. Besides participating in international sports competitions, candidates must have won first, second, or third place at these competitions, and these games must be recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India.

Age Limit Requirements for B.P.Ed

SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for D.El. Ed.

D.El.Ed stands for Diploma in Elementary Education. The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the D.El. Ed courses are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for D.El. Ed 

  • Applicants must have passed their 10+2 exams with 50% (for General Category) and 45% (SC/ST/SEBC/ PH category) in Arts/Commerce/Science background. In addition, the candidates appearing in their final year Higher 10+2 Examinations in Arts / Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils are also eligible to apply. 
  • Candidates must have passed Odia as MIL up to Higher Secondary level or any equivalent or higher examination (10+2) or have passed Odia in a single subject.
  • Examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or must have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia. Such applicants who have passed the Higher Secondary level Examination of BSE, Odisha without Odia as MIL must have a certificate from the school's Headmaster that the candidate has passed the Higher Secondary level Examination in Odia medium.

Age Limit Requirements for D.El.Ed

The age limit criteria for D.El.Ed is the same as the B.Ed per the SCERT eligibility criteria 2023.

SCERT Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2023 for M.Phil.

The SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023 for the M.Phil course are provided below for the candidates. 

Educational Qualification Requirements for M.Phil

  • The Applicant must be a Master’s Degree holder in Education (MA (Education) / M.Ed.) from any recognized University having a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for General candidates and 50% aggregate marks in the case of SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates.
  • Candidates should have met this criterion in addition to all the conditions mentioned above to be eligible for M.Phil.
    1. They must have passed Odia as a medium of language in their 12th or Higher Secondary School level exams if they wish to apply for M.Phil.
    2. They must have passed a single-subject exam in Odia conducted by BSE, Odisha if they wish to apply for M.Phil.
    3. They must have passed a Higher Secondary School exam in Odia with a modern Indian language (except Odia) conducted by BSE, Odisha, if they wish to apply for M.Phil.

Age Limit Requirements for M.Phil.

There are no age limit criteria per the SCERT Odisha eligibility criteria 2023.
