MITID DAT 2025: Result (Out), Cycle II Application (Open), Studio Test and Personal Interview Date (Out)

The MITID DAT 2025 result was declared on April 25, 2025, after 5 PM. Candidates can download the MITID DAT 2025 result from the official website. This cycle is exclusively for candidates applying to the M.Des program. The Studio Test and Personal Interview for B.Des and B.Des Fashion programs will be held from May 6 to May 14, 2025.

For the M.Des program, the Studio Test and Interview will occur from May 14 to May 18, 2025. The final merit list for B.Des and B.Des Fashion programs will be published on May 15, 2025. The final results for the M.Des program will be released on May 21, 2025.

MITID DAT 2025 is conducted jointly for admission into B.Des and M.Des programs are offered by the MIT Institute of Design, Pune, Avantika University, Ujjain, and MIT University, Shillong. The entrance exam for Cycle I was held on April 6, 2025, and the last date to apply for this cycle was February 28, 2025. The application deadline for Cycle II was extended to April 20, 2025, from April 14, 2025.

MIT Institute of Design Design Aptitude Test (MITID DAT) is a university-level entrance test conducted by MIT Institute of Design (Pune), Avantika University (Ujjain), MIT University of Design, Alandi, Pune and MIT University Meghalaya for admission into B.Des and M.Des Programs.

MITID DAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

There is no age limit mentioned in the MITID DAT eligibility criteria 2025. The education qualification required for MITID DAT is different for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, which are given below:

• MITID DAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Des
  An applying candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream (From any of the State Boards AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/ISC/IB or equivalent exam).
  
  
• MITID DAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria for M.Des
  Applying candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree in the following disciplines, according to the course for which they are applying for from a recognised university.
  
  
• For Product Design, Transportation Design, Interior Space & Furniture Design, and Retail Design: A candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, Design, Science or Industrial Design.
  
  
• For Graphic Design and Animated Film Design: A candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Literature, Media, Film, Animation or any communication design discipline.

Steps to Apply for MITID DAT 2025

• Step 1: Register for DAT through the official website.
• Step 2: An automated verification link will be sent to your registered email ID. Activate your account by clicking the link.

MITID DAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The MITID DAT exam pattern comprises a Design Aptitude Test, a Studio Test, and a Personal Interview. Candidates must take the MITID DAT 2025 exam, and those who pass will be eligible for the Studio Test and Personal Interview phases. The MITID DAT 2025 exam will take place on April 6, 2025. Candidates who pass the DAT must participate in a Studio Test and a Personal Interview. MITID DAT 2025 Scholarships and Loans

MIT Institute of Design has initiated full or partial scholarship schemes for 5% of the total students to make design education more affordable. The decision to award the scholarship will solely lie in the hands of the interview panel. It will depend upon the student's performance in the test and his/her financial needs whether he/she desperately needs a scholarship or not.

After getting admission to the college, the needy student has to fill out the scholarship form and affix required documents like family income statements with it.

For education loan purposes, the institute has a special tie-up with Credila (An HDFC Ltd. Company). Candidates can avail of this facility as per the bank's norms.

MITID DAT 2025 Results

The MIT Institute of Design has announced the MITID DAT exam 2025 results on April 25, 2025. To see your results, log in using your roll number. The written exam results will be used to select candidates for a studio test and interview.

The Studio Test and Personal Interview for the B.Des and B.Des Fashion programs will take place from May 6 to 14, 2025. Meanwhile, the Studio Test and Personal Interview for the M.Des program will take place from May 14 to 18, 2025.

MITID DAT 2025 Counselling

On May 15, 2025, the MIT Institute of Design will declare the final MITID DAT 2025 merit for the B.Des and B.Des Fashion programs. The M.Des program's merit list will be issued on May 20, 2025. To get the merit list, log in to the portal with your login information.
