Established in 2010, Chitkara University has managed to impart quality education with promising career opportunities for its students in the past decade. The university is a good option for those who scored less marks in the competitive examinations than required for the national institutes. 

The university offers a myriad of programs in different fields, such as Business and Management, Engineering and Technology, Planning and Architecture, Health Sciences, and Art and Design.

The common negative response from the students about the university is that it has a very strict environment, with compulsory attendance requirements and dress code or uniforms for all. According to them, the students who wish to have the liberty to enjoy their college life must think twice before joining the university.

Chitkara University does not charges expensive fees from its students. If compared, the fees are reasonable with the infrastructure and facilities it provides. The tuition fees for B.Tech programs range from INR 4,96,000 to INR 6,65,739, based on the specialzations. For B.Arch programs, the fees is around INR 8,10,000. 

The average tuition fees for master's programs, such as M.Ed, M.Tech and MBA programs are around INR 1,60,000, INR 3,00,000 and INR 4,93,571, respectively.

Enjoyable Campus Life

Chitkara University admits students from diverse backgrounds. To be inclusive, the university also provides scholarships to its students. However, official figures seems to be amiss. From time to time, Chitkara University organises cultural and sports events. It also hosts EDM nights, competitions, etc. as part of its annual college festivals.

Good Placements

The university has a good placement culture, from helping students acquire internships at big companies to assisting them in performing well for the placement drive and bagging high-package jobs at big MNCs. The university is said to have a reputation for providing placement to 100% of its students.

As with all private universities, Chitkara University is a good option for students who wish to pursue their education by focusing only on their academic career.
