The authorities released the CLAT 2023 application form online on August 8, 2022. The last for candidates to submit their CLAT applications was November 18, 2022. Candidates had to make sure that they met the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

- Step 3: A new account will be created. Use your login credentials (email address and password) to access your account.
- Step 4: Fill out the application form by entering all the necessary personal, academic, and professional details.
- Step 5: Upon completing the application form, cross-check all the information minutely and then click on submit.
- Step 6: Now, proceed to upload scanned copies of your signature, photograph, and domicile certificate in the required dimensions.
- Step 7: Finally, pay the application fees using one of these payment modes- credit card/debit card/net banking.
CLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Five-year integrated LLB courses and one-year LLM programs are offered by the NLUs. The CLAT eligibility criteria for 2023 are program-specific. Therefore, the candidate had to meet the following course-specific eligibility requirements before applying for CLAT 2023:

CLAT Syllabus 2023
The CLAT exam 2023 involved five sections: English, logical reasoning, general knowledge, quantitative techniques, and legal reasoning. The English section assessed candidates on their comprehension skills. The quants section tested the mathematical ability of the student.
Further, the legal reasoning section evaluated aspirants’ knowledge of law-related topics. CLAT 2023 Exam Preparation
CLAT 2023 was conducted successfully, and the results are out. However, a law aspirant must know how to approach CLAT preparation in the right way. Preparation for the CLAT exam requires consistent efforts and a smart plan. Incorporate the following methods while preparing for CLAT to achieve the best results:
- First things first, go through the syllabus and exam pattern thoroughly. Once you know all the topics, create a realistic study schedule. Dedicated studies of 7-8 hours per day are recommended for aspirants.

The CLAT 2023 admit card was released by the Consortium for all the registered candidates on December 6, 2022. Details like the candidate’s name, registration number, address, roll number, exam instructions, etc., were mentioned on the CLAT 2023 hall ticket. Here is the step-by-step process through which candidates downloaded their CLAT 2023 admit card:
- Go to the CLAT 2023 official website.
- Use your registration number and password to log in to your account.
- Now, you will find the admit card link on the dashboard.
- Click on the link to download the CLAT 2023 admit card.
- The admit card for CLAT 2023 will be displayed on your screen.
- Download your hall ticket and take its printout for future use.
CLAT Answer Key 2023
The final CLAT 2023 answer key was released by the Consortium on December 22, 2022. Candidates downloaded the question paper and answer key of CLAT 2023 through the official portal: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The answer key provided all the official answers to the CLAT 2023 question paper. Candidates referred to the answer key to calculate their scores. They also got an option to raise objections against the CLAT 2023 answer key.
CLAT 2023 Result
The authorities announced the CLAT 2023 result on December 23, 2022. The result has been declared online in the form of scorecards and merit lists.
In order to download the CLAT 2023 result, candidates will need to log into their registered accounts. The result includes some key details like the score attained by the candidate in the exam, qualifying status, rank, etc.

The CLAT 2023 cutoff is the minimum score/rank that a candidate needs to achieve to secure admission to one of the participating NLUs. As the CLAT 2023 results are declared, the Consortium will soon release the category-wise cutoffs.

CLAT 2023 Counselling
The registrations for CLAT 2023 counselling began in January 2023. Candidates will be able to find the complete counselling schedule on the official website. In order for all of the undergraduate seats and postgraduate seats to be filled, the Consortium will organize five rounds of counselling.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allocated based on merit and preference. This means that students will be admitted on the basis of their CLAT 2023 rank, category, order of preference, availability of seats in participating NLUs, etc.
- Counselling Fees: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50,000 for obtaining allotted seats during the admission process.
Candidates must note, that the last date to complete admission is Jun 20, 2023 against CLAT 2023 counselling.
